During the first month of Ungoro I was playing 3-5 hours a day. I made it to rank 3, my highest rank ever. Granted, it was the first month.
I main midrange hunter, so getting to rank 3 again was kinda impossible for me in the later months. Only got to rank 6 in the second month, rank 10 in the third, 12 in July. (Though I was kinda giving up at that point).
Now to repeat the process all over again and prey to get to Legend before the meta settles and I actually have to play a good class.
You don't really play hunter much, do you? You are wasting a card slot for a spell that may or may not do anything. For a class with shit draw, this is not an option. Yeah, it's a good card...in other classes. Hunter is shit, though, so this card is bad as a result.
Most of the hero cards will fail simply because of aggro. Most of the entire set will fail because of aggro. No one will have fun because of aggro. Control hunter won't extist because of aggro.
august 10th right ?? So why i still can't open it ? I even tried changing my PC Clock time and date to 11th august all the way up to December and still the pack is lock . Now i just wasted 1 hours of my time Blizzard for real need to step up their game to please the players or else i see no future in Hearthstone. Anyway really disappointing day for me . Hope u guys can understand and unite against Blizzard just like during WOW riot . Also Blizzard Cringe Boi GTFO they will defend Blizzard at all cost .
Don't get me wrong, I love most of the cards in TFT, but I'm probably just going to relax for 4 months summoning zombeasts against the inkeeper/Frozen Throne Bosses. Lol.
If I get a copy of the Hunter DK I'll challenge ya to a Zombeast creation contest, if you'd like haha :)
But let's be honest. Control Hunter is like a dead horse being kicked back to life when it was never alive in the first place.
Hunter's going to effing suck like usual. Welp, y'all have fun against Pirate Warriors with your new toys. I'll be playing zombeasts against the inkeeper in the meantime...
Every class has gotten a viable control deck at one point. That is, except for hunter. My point is that if blizzard keeps pushing this shit, regardless of whether or not hunter was made to smorc and nothing else, they better at least make it work. And they have never made it work.
And, uhhh, pretty Sure Pirate Warrior will be Tier 1 just like always. Phantom Freebooter can be a 7/9 on turn 4 with the right opener (though if you attack with rusty hook on turns 2 and 3 beforehand then Phantom Freebooter is a 4 mana 7/7. Joy.)
Secretly, Blizzard doesn't want to get rid of aggro decks, cuz in silent most people love that shit and the only ones who don't are very vocal in the forums.
And I really love 40 minute matches. They're fun. Decreases the impact of early game rng and adds skill for each turn. I don't give a shit how fast people need to climb with their aggro shit.

I like the cards, which probably means most will suck. They are pushing control, but control and slower decks will fail just like they always do.
I could pretend to have hope, but there's not really any point.
I'm fairly certain that most/all the Hero Cards will fail miserably. I'm calling it here. The few aggro cards released this expansion will shit on any cool control mechanics.
Fight me if I end up being wrong.
Oh, and Control Hunter will never be viable. Never.

Won't work. Both have complex texts. Better to combo with giant wasp.

Like when they thought it was okay to print toxic arrow?

Wowzers. Only half of the hunter cards revealed. Really enjoy building up our false hope, don't ya Blizzard?

Effigy summons Flamewreathed Faceless.

Patches is really good and really annoying. But most oppressive card ever? No. That title belongs to Jade Idol.

Simple as that.

New Meta?
Tier one will consist of 5 faceboop decks and one faceburn mage deck, only able to beat aggro because of cheating death with ice block.
Pretty sure all the Death Knights will fail miserably. It doesn't matter how strong they are when you have already lost the game by turn 3.
Warlock will still be pretty shit. Hunter will still be pretty shit, and almost nothing else will change either.
Calling it right here. I like most of these cards this expansion, which means that they will probably suck.

Aggro aggro aggro.

For 8 out of 9 classes I agree with you.
