I think this has potential in aggro and midrange decks as a 1 of, depending on the dominant classes in the new meta. The 5HP makes it survive most board clears, and the opponent can be denied some mana usage if they are forced to use AOE. e.g. consecration+hero power on turn 6, or flamestrike plus ping on 9, or even spellpower+maelstrom portal. Shamans will have a hard time dealing with it, and allows you to put your minion at 1HP vs a mage, rogue or druid.
Even if this card would have NO EFFECT it will be pretty good. 3 mana 2/5? I dont remembery any card with that stats, its like a Doomguard on Steroids. Also counters Facehunters/Zoolook/Buffpaladin/Floodpaladin/Totem Shami/ and destroys the carddraw for priest...
Yep Crazy card, insta craft, and this card will see play in ANY deck, like the old Piloted Shredder was, Best 3 Drop in the entire game 3 mana 2/5 With an Upsite effect! OH SHIET! How Cool is that!!!!
Tech for Pirate Warrior maybe? Can't be pinged, priests can't heal, control warrior can't armor up, hunters can't shoot you... And you don't care about armoring up yourself.
I can't even grasp why you think this would tech against pirate warriors? You don't see hunters running Carrion Grub as tech against pirate warriors. This card has no effect for against pirates as armoring up does nothing to benefit them.
Oh man... You missed the thing. He meant tech card FOR pirate warriors AGAINST the others... And that make sense. Strong body to trade during the attack of the other weak minions. No heal, no ping. If I would play a face deck this could be tried. This card could help aggro and that's not a good thing.

I may have not been clear enough, but reading my whole post you should understand the point. Why would I say you don't care about armoring up? Because I meant play Mindbreaker IN Pirate Warrior.
BTW, I add to my point that it protects your "late" small minions from being pinged by mages and druids, which is also cool.

Hey, anything that baits removal in a control matchup is A-OK with me. Excellent disruption minion that the opponent has to seriously consider using a significant resource to kill it behind Taunt. Pairs extremely well with Nerubian Unraveler on turn 9 if you've got a grip on the board state.
I have a feeling that if this iteration of the team designed Karazhan, Violet Illusionist would've had better stat distribution. Cards like this really speak to how much better these cards are designed than previously.
I don't know if it will ever see play, but this on top of some others nice new cards are introducing some interesting mechanics and interaction that I really hope will bring lots of fun.

In fact, at least one copy of this can be played in any deck... Aggro, to prevent early protecting hero power. Others to prevent draw cards, jarraxus, steady shot timer... Very strong IMO.
Great in Arena as Hunter or warrior our whenever you don't care about using your hero power as much as your opponent.
Also a nice counter to all the death knight hero powers, though likely will only be played in a tournament as a tech choice.

Everybody talks about Arena yet this is very good card for constructed especially against mage, druid, shaman and warlock.
Lets rank the classes that will be annoyed most by this card
1. Mage 2. Shaman 3. Druid 4. Warlock 5. Hunter 6. Priest 7. Rogue 8. Paladin 9.Warrior
By the way who ever says that "yeah firelands portal here to remove this" is an idiot you will simply use 7 mana to remove a 3 mana worth minion
OK, some people mentioned already this might find a spot in matchups where you care less than your opponent about using HP...
But excluding those cases, doesn't it look like a "win more" card?

This is a buff to Rogue since their hero power is so terrible atm
