This card is being overrated pretty badly because of “Bearshark hype”. This is a slightly scaled up Faerie Dragon. The only reason Faerie Dragon was played for a bit was for Dragon synergy and it is the only neutral dragon that costs less than 4 mana. There are several better 3 mana options with beast synergy. I would rather play Animal Companion, Rat Pack, and Vicious Fledgling just off the top of my head. This card is solid against decks that rely heavily on targeted removal spells, but it is just a vanilla 4/3 against decks that rely more on minions, minion effects, weapons, or AOE for removal. This will be played a good amount in the beginning because it’s a Bearshark, but once the meta settles a bit and decks are optimized this card will show up less and less, until this disappears almost completely from the meta.
Great addition for the build a beast if that actually turns out being good. can't be targeted taunt beast is nothing to sneeze at... so a card that is relevant in a world where they actually make control hunter cards good enough.
Feels like it's a Build-a-Beast card, but it's decent on its own as well. Will probably see some play, if only because I can't think of any better 3 drops for Hunters to run.
This is an okay card but I don't see this being played. To be blunt the whole Hunter class in this expansion seems way too slow and unplayable to me, but I suppose maybe my mind will change after the release.
i think this card is over hyped, we've had a 2 3/2 with this same effect and it's almost never used, i don't think a 1 mana 1/1 buff and a change to the beast tag is going to cause this card to break the meta, it's just a playable card at best, if even.
though as a few people said this is a decent card in arena terms, and has potential with build a beast if that becomes viable, but even so, there are much more powerful build a beast combinations as i'm sure you can all see the 6 mana 9/9 charges, and 4 mana 4/4 charge fledglings.
Frankly, I'd rather use my Houndmasters on Rat Pack or Carrion Grub. Being untargettable has its perks, but a 3-health minion on turn 3 gets removed by pretty much any board, and so many weapons, that it feels very "meh".
A 6/5 Taunt on turn 4 sounds good, but it requires this surviving... which means you're just dominating the board anyway.
Decent in Arena, as far as all 4/3 three-drops can be. Probably won't make the cut in Constructed over Animal Companion, Rat Pack, Cloaked Huntress and Eaglehorn Bow.

I like the card, but a shark's head on a bear's body is just kind of too far fetched for me. Are they trying to appeal to a juvenile demographic now?
They appealed to a juvenile demographic when they released the three hog riders. I guess cards like these are why it's considered a children's card game.
The hog riders aren't even half as bad as the Tuskarr Jouster in my book. That was a new low for them...now we have the Bearshark as a new contender.
Dust it, its not Man Bear Pig....kappa

Good stats, good text, good tribe, good card, particularly against classes based on spell removal like Mage and Rogue.

Hunter is back to Arena Boys

What will we see next...a raptor head on a walrus body or a wolf head on a parot's body?
You arent alone lol. I have noticed that alot of people in this community get butthurt and hostile if you disagree with the prevailing opinion.
I think the stats are fine because 2/3 2-drops are way more common than 3/2 2-drops these days.

Join me at Out of Cards!
A must in every (aggro, midrange, ...control) Hunter deck, but only because of the memes! :)
12 wins in ArenA with: Mage and Paladin, first time legend with Rogue
Voted bad.
Trades too poorly, hunter needs board control. Too bad, would've loved to play a bearshark for the lulz :)
i don't get the hype, the 3-drop-slot is far too packed for this card to see major play
Lemme guess, next expansion a card called Sharknado (9) Summon 3 Bearsharks.
I like to make cards and discuss game balance.
I enjoy when "No similar decks were found."
