The point is this card depends on others to work properly, comes really late in the game, and you need to ramp up perfectly and have the god curve for this card to come earlier so that your opponent cant deal with it. Too gimmicky imo.
This is just worse that Soggoth the Slitherer for the most part... I don't get it. Boring.
12/12 worse than 5/9 for the most part, good to know
Soggoth on the board isn't threatening anything, the opponent has ton of time to develop a board and deal with soggoth especially with Mr. Noboardclear aka Druid.
12/12 threatens lethal almost immediatly
The thing is, while you play a 10 mana 12/12, your opponent just kills you. If you're not already heavily ahead on board, you just can't play this because your oppoent will ignore it. It's a win more card.
I would rate soggoth higher than this as well, simply because he has taunt. He does something, this card doesn't.
Sorry, I play wild. Please ignore me, Tree of Life concedes are the best.
Also please, try to play control decks once in a while. "your opponent ignores it and kill you" is a blatant proof that you know nothing but aggro.
Rating soggoth higher than tyrantus, is like rating Silverback Patriarch higher than Edwin VanCleef. "it has taunt, it does something" lul.
but it doesn't do any thing, you're opponent would just go face if they had more than 25 life or a taunt or anything really. now go play a control deck and you will see why this sucks
Also, I actually like the 'clean' aspect of this legendary. Small card text with huge stats, just like old King Krush. When it comes to huge devilsaurs that's what we are suposed to get anyway.
Interesting card indeed, I'll definitely add it in my Astral Ramp - if cheated out in turn 3 or 4 it can't be stopped, win the game in a few turns.
Druid ramp decks have always been a thing and if they try to do a beast flavor then maybe this guy has a place. Menagerie Warden isn't that great a combo as it will be a very "win more" situation if it ever goes off. Maybe if the taunt meta materializes but in most cases a ramp druid would rather play a big taunt itself or something with a strong battlecry to immediately impact the board.
Make it a 2 mana 3/3 elusive and it'd see play. 10 mana 12/12 elusive comes too late and without immediate impact on the board, this card will never see play other than in maybe some meme decks that try to adapt it and/or Menagerie Warden it.
"Blizzard will probably reveal the best cards first to boost pre-orders , so druid cards must be really bad since they revealed almost nothing for our class yet"
Proven right, AGAIN. 0 out of 4 playable druid cards in this set. How T5 baited being fired after so many years ? I don't know, but HS is in decline right now , even "pro-players" are not happy with the state of the game, and this "legendary" show exactly why.
Another idea to make it 'worth' to be played. If the Druid quest is something like "play 3 10-mana minions" this could be a choice, a ramp heavy deck with Kun the Forgotten King, Tyrantus and Deathwing or any old god.
It would be the shittiest quest for a f2p, because of the cost of all this legendaries. The 'budget version' would be to play 2 faceless behemots(which are really bad) and maybe 1 giant(which it's not cheap neither).
edit: this quest could also be a reason to play Hemet, Jungle Hunter, once you ramp to turn 6 it can help you find your big guys. And if Druid gets a 4-mana removal spell(similar to Blastcrystal Potion), it would fit perfectly, as it avoids being destroyed and druid still has removal, which not many classes could have.
Okay...so who approves artwork? Cause I get no sense that this is the biggest creature of the set nor that spells can't target it. It looks like they just took this out of a dinosaur book.
Great card for wild (Astral Communion or Aviana+Kun the Forgotten King decks)... in stardard is hard to make it work. Maybe if druid gets the beast equivalent to Dragon Consort, with a 2mana discount you can play this+Sunfury Protector.
I know, you already have Innervate to do that at 10mana, but its too inconsistent, usually you don't hold your innervates for that.
A 10-mana: Kun the Forgotten King+Tyrantus+Innervate+Sunfury Protector could be a nice combo, but it's not game winning half the time, that's the problem.
Weird card

It may be decent in ramp though. With the new Hemet I can see Astral Druid being way less gimmick, who knows..
playing wild

boring but has some really good synergies with warden
This card has some of the worst art for a legendary.

Should you craft/disenchant (Golden) Sylvanas or Ragnaros?

The aggro isn't fast enough to counter this. Captain, we need to speed up the aggro to LUDICROUS SPEED
And that's how I met your mother
I hope it isn't playable, because this seems like the most boring class legendary ever.

Brode - "Hey, guys, we are late! We need to make a Druid Legendary! Any ideas?"
Dev 1 - "Idk"
Dev 2 - "We forgot lol"
Dev 3 - "We should make 10 mana 12/12... so original!"
Just realized, the art looks like it came out of one of those wood puzzles you did as a toddler.
That art would been nicer:
Okay...so who approves artwork? Cause I get no sense that this is the biggest creature of the set nor that spells can't target it. It looks like they just took this out of a dinosaur book.
God, this art work is absolute hot garbage.......
