Unlikely to see play. Too slow and ineffectual to make Ramp Druid better than Jades. Would need some kind of Beast Ramp Druid to have success with this and Menagerie Warden.
Seems incredibly premature to make a video on a card when we haven't even seen the full set yet - won't go into you making an 8 minute video about a single card. Fact is, the Druid quest just made this card MUCH better than it was an hour ago.
Are you even serious? He even said it would be good with the druid quest..(by guessing the quest).. BEFORE THE QUEST CAME OUT. Dude is an Oracle
you can do stuff with it, but: - it doesn't feel unique - (almost) no effect = just an ordinary minion with good stats -... I'm sure that there will be cards shown, which synergize with this card and maybe make a good deck out of it, but this looks like a boring legendary.
5. Man I'm laughing so hard right now because of people's narrowminded way to look at cards in Hearthstone!
xD
You were saying? Potential with the class quest shouldn't justify shitty card quality (especially for a legendary). I am pretty sure as many here on this thread predicted this card turned out to be pretty bad. I voted it playable, because that is what it seemed like at the time and even that seems to be stretching it since the majority of Ramp / Quest Druid decks don't even run it. Your comment was really annoying tbh, because I find this attitude of judging other people's opinion prematurely very silly especially when considering how bad a card Tyrantus actually looked to be, but now I am pretty certain that the card is nowhere near the very good or higher levels that some people would have us believe. My advice to you is to not overrate synergy so much. It is true that synergy is what has made certain decks absolutely bonkers, but a shitty card doesn't make the cut on synergy alone.
Alongside comes the quest that just simply gets me laughing on the floor for Beaver's comment which is not descriptive of its quality (which is a poor estimate as well because 'what specific' quality do we talk about is a mountain of criteria that are completely subjective) and I make my comment in regards to Tyranatus.
To determine a card's quality one has to analyze its potential. In the case of Tyrantus you can easily tell its a boring card with no extra future potential (unless we get to broken effects like summon all Beasts in your hand or deck) and it is only satisfying if you can cheat it out. Nobody feels good playing a 10 mana 12/12 that doesn't impact the board in any way. Can it win you games? Sure. Is it a good card? No, at least according to me and many others in this very thread. The main problem with this card is that it isn't even an open ended card (i.e. there is no building around it). There is nothing remarkable about it. Just a pile of stats that can win you the game on occasion.
All in all... my advice to you is this: if you find my comments annoying... learn to forget them. Because I will continue to spread the message of "Don't be a narrowminded idiot who makes predictions soley on the basis of a single criterium". So... would you be so kind and not ever reply to me again considering this was a waste of my time and judging by you finding my comment annoying for no reason at all, apparently it was even more of a waste of time of yers'.
The reason why I find your comment annoying is perfectly represented by this very comment. You seem to have a very high opinion of yourself and to easily label a lot of people as "narrowminded idiots" just because we disagree with your opinion with good reasoning behind our opinions. And no, I won't be "kind" enough so as not to reply to your opinions, because I don't like the way you present them to people in general in this site (when you are criticizing people you often insult them directly and on several occasions miss their point entirely with your long walls of text). If I wanted to just always close my eyes and ignore what others say and how they phrase it I wouldn't even create an account in this site.
I play it in Casual with a Midrange quest deck i saw in hearthstone top decks(not the exact deck, i changed it a little bit), i don't play it in ranked because i already have the golden druid, i'm getting wins with other classes. I also have made more decks with it(ramp, astral communion in wild, beast, etc). But i saw it being played by my opponent just 2 or 3 times in this month and a half, in Giant Anaconda decks.
It's not a bad card, it just fits in certain type of decks that are not seeing play for Druid right now. And yes, it does wins you games, against Mages and Priests mostly.

Are you high? This is the worst class leg from this expansion. Its completly unusable. Even in Anaconda deck you take Deathwings/Ysharaj over this crap because they can be targeted by Earthen Scales and do something when they die or are played. This card is total utter mega garbage. It does nothing when played, it does not prevent enemy from doing what he wants. Then on your turn if you are somehow alive it deals only 12 dmg to one target. Man Pyroblast is better than this at the same cost.
And no there will not come a time when this somehow becomes usable not in this game.
It is usable, it's not great, i already said that. If you have no idea how to pilot the kind of deck that includes it then don't come here and try to make your opinion the absolute truth. Many pro players and regular players(including myself) have made it work in anaconda druid, if you have no idea how to play it go back to quest rogue.

I love the art. The colors give an impression of the critter being massive and distant.

SOOOOOOOO SLOOOOOOOOOOW
Out of all of the cool Druid legendaries they give this to them
imho too slow card for this meta, if played – very strong, hard to kill...
Yep, I thought it might see some use with the quest, but the quest is pretty much unplayable and Tyrantus doubly so. Such sad days for druid.

I've still never seen this card played (besides playing it myself once)
