I though I wouldn't live to see the day people would make hate post about the shaman class without it being faceshaman (the retard'd cousin of facehunter) but for an unique archetype of it.

Tuskarr totemic is run in faceshaman.
Tuskarr totemic is run in aggro shaman, midrange shaman and totem shaman (not strictly the same).
As is frost bolt in every single mage deck, so your point is? I'm talking about overall shaman being whined about. And I enjoy seeing those tears.
but 3 mana 6/6 into 4 mana 7/7 is TOTALLY BALANCED
but a 3 mana 3/2 with a chance of 1 in 7 of being 6/6 is totally fine. you people cry too much.
Do you remember what peopel said about the shaman hero ability during naxx era? "those totems are useless" "who would want to play shaman, it's cards are horrible and rellies on an useless hero power"
The in LoE? "faceshaman cancer it works only because of sinfinley chance it's trash ability to hunter's or card draw", and "is just a copy of facehunter"
If tuskarr summoned only basic totems it would be played only in totem shaman and just because of thing from below.
The real problem is the general policy in creatures attack and health, totem golem at 2(+1) would be just fine as a 3/3 or a 2/4 (making it more a midrange card than an aggo one). But noooo, let's make cards with extra stats because that's just fine, albeit people constantly complain about the exaggerated rates of attack/health in creatures. Oh, and don't make me start with uber expensive board clears... The problem is not totemic, but the philosophies that drive the dev team.

That's why we haven't seen a new totem lately. Because of the design space.
But that's very very easy to plan around - They don't have to. They wait for the guy to rotate out of standard, and then they don't care if your 3 mana 3/2 summons a 6/6 totem or whatever. It's wild. Then again, it's more likely that they'll print a shitty totem with it to, like Vitality Totem or something.

As far as i understood brode, they make these cards to asure bad players can beat good players in this game. Because without that they would loose the fun in this game because they stay bad.
To Summ up his show about RNG and Stuff.
RNG is for the baddies and noobs to have moments of false success to make them feel better and purchase packs.
Expect Tuskarr Totemic as pointed out by this thread, is worth its cost no matter which totem you get. At least in most cases, making it rather "skilled" play instead of play made by a "bad" play.
If rng based card is good, then the good players might utilize it.

Maybe, just maybe, people cry about shaman because it's broken.
Jot gets a nerf after the next rotation so no reason to nerf it now. It is like 2/6 chance to get a well enough totem (it is more funny that people have a horrible placement with that than anything else lol)
Maybe, just maybe, people cry about shaman because it's broken.
And maybe, just maybe, people should let it be "broken" (I disagree, shaman decks aren't as reliable as warrior's) for this season rotation considering he never saw real play of unique archetypes in the many seasons of the 2 years of the game's history.
And don't tell me "faceshaman" pre-formats was a real archetype, it was just a more spell oriented version of "facehunter", the shaman decks nowadays are mostly made of actual shaman cards, wich i think, should be the case always.
Every (!) stupid shaman that plays this card get either a Mana tide totem, totem golem or a flametongue totem. I seriously never seen a vitality totem, does tuskarr even summon it?
Its like 40% mana tide. 30% totem golem. 20% flametongue and 10% the rest totems..
I agree with the guys that says the problem is the stat/cost.
Overload itself is what is broken with shaman. Sure, you 'pay' 5 mana for the wolves or 6 for the 7/7. It would be totally fine if on the next turn the 3 or 2 remaining mana they had wouldn't also be valued at 5 or 4 mana because it's another overload card.
No one can compete with a stream of cards played above curve all the time. Druid at least needs to lose some tempo or cards to get mana for that. Overload should either be stat inefficient to pay for being able to play stuff earlier in the game or just inefficient as far as mana goes, overloading for a bit more.
It's not a problem if you have a couple of overload cards, but there comes a time when you keep adding more and more of those to the point where the whole deck is above the curve. That is the problem with Shaman. Most minions above the curve, way too cheap. Spells way too efficient. Nothing can slow down a deck that can destroy your 5 health taunt with a 3 mana spell (THAT ALSO BUFFS HIS MINION!)
It's sad because Shaman now has some cool cards and possible archetypes, but because of this everyone will just keep playing this broken thing.
Tuskarr Totemic is a bad card when it spawns a then-useless HP totem. Tuskarr into Golem isn't game-winning, never is. Tuskarr was bad in TGT because of this. It's good now because it curves into Thing from Below on turn 4 if you miss your turn 2 Totem Golem, which is a balanced curve because you can't curve Golem into Tuskarr into Thing, you have to Hero Power. Nerf the Coin and the 7/7
I've never had trouble clearing Tuskarr Totemic or its spawn. Maybe get better at board clearing?
How you gonna clear on turn 3 a Tuskarr and a golem.. Its like gg if he gets a golem..
So, you mean the problem is the lack of removal and not tuskarr totem? ohhh, is great to see the light isn't it?
Stupid playerbase and their shortsightedness push the devs into stupid changes, like nerfing totemic instead of making totem golem 3/3 and giving a better neutral clear or improving older cards into multi-target clears.

Totem golem is fine. It's strong, powerful and a force to be reckoned with.
I don't like shaman now, I think it is silly to play and silly to play against... but totem golem doesn't bug me, even though it is a very strong minion on T2.
As long as games aren't steamrolled by tuskarr on T3 I'm not bothered... shaman is going to slow down wee bit now, which means more challenges from decks that just lacked that tiny bit of oomph that got steamrolled by a good tuskarr roll.
And yes, I see people are predicting mid-range shaman will be king of the meta, and though I have no doubt it will be strong, challenges will appear now that aggro shaman and mid-face shaman can't just blow stuff out of the water 30% of the time on T3/T2c

And all that is meaningless outside of this rotation because this is a short term "fix" more like complying to the stupid player base. The problems in the game are a lot deeper than a 14.28% chance of casting a 3/4 for free (with 7 totems the chance of casting a golem is roughly 14.28%)
I mean, the chance could be so EASY, just lower the chance of casting any of the non-basic totems, make them 10% chance each and 18% chance all the basic, if blizz enjoy RNG why they remove GOOD rng from the game? Just to keep the children quiet, nothing more.
