This is fine if we really do see the card this would in theory have been OP with in THIS expansion. I'm gonna be sad if my favorite class is unplayable for 4-6 months.
personally as a paladin and patron warrior enthusiastic i feel this is not a nerf enough,, 4 mana is too cheap .. why not 10mana ? 10 mana seems like a decent nerf and only hit damaged minions...yeah.... rogue got a buff here hurr durr.. no srsly ben brode cant make good card he thinks hes the boss but in fact hes just a narcistic prick with a deep voice... EVERYBODY IS LAUGHING AT YOU BEN BUT HEY AT LEAST YOU GOT THE SHITTON OF MONEY FOR 0 WORK AMMIRITE ?
Nah, should clearly be 10 mana give all enemy minions +1 attack and charge.
Fan of knives better get buffed to flames strike levels and backstabb reverted to vanilla version of do 2 damage to an enemy. Else the class is dead. Or change the hero to gain attack or charge on the weapon. So pissed this might actually make me quit this game lol. Then again I do play mill waay too much so there is always that. Fml
As a heavy Rogue player (2nd favorite class tied with Mage), I find this nerf a bit too much, though on the right track. Had it been costed 3 instead of 4 it would have been just right. Now it's going to be awkward to use.
True, but I think that's somewhat irrelevant. It's easy for any kind of Rogue to run two copies of Flurry and Deadly Poison (very few mages run double Flamestrike), because they're pretty much never dead cards (unlike Flamestrike, which is a dead card for the first half of any game). Use the first one as an Arcane Explosion or Hellfire. Use the second one as a Pyroblast, because it's also easy to chain together several of them for a really really huge Malygos burst. And Rogue is one of the best card-drawing classes to allow you to assemble the cards.
In an n-dimensional chess sense, by changing Blade Flurry from a spell which is simultaneously Flamestrike and Fireball in a single card (if set up), into a card which has a bit less versatility, this can open up space for new cards. Blizzard might be able to create other cards which would be too strong if Blade Flurry powered Miracles were still the norm. I mean, they could never print a 4-mana 4/2 weapon for rogue before, or not without putting crazy restrictions on it like the 1/3 which becomes a 3/3 if you have a mech. Now they can print better weapons. This may allow other deck archetypes, decks which are designed to play more like a tempo mage, or like a control priest. It'll need other cards to be developed to support those archetypes, but that's probably putting the Rogue class on better long-term footing.
If Rogue gets a truesilver/death's bite, you could flamestrike on turn five. As long as we get better weapons for rogue, this nerf is more than justified.
NOW i belive blizz dont really know how to nerf a card, they just shoot in the dark and pray, maybe the card will get balanced, maybe it will be destroyed, who knows?
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
need take time to make new pic and signature using the new cards.
They must've listened to A LOT of whiners complaining about Oil Rogue (from last year). 4 mana OR minions only would've been fine. Both is overkill. Commons (Fan) shouldn't be better than equivalent rares.

It might as well read:
"Give your weapons +1 attack and charge"
Not if you factor in the necessary hero power and deadly poison..
i still can't believe it! Why not remove it from standard instead so at least is playable in Wild?

Time will tell.

Holy crapload of doom. And I've spent the last year trying to make Control Rogue work because I've never enjoyed Oil Rogue.
Looks like it will be Raptor or reroll quests.
Just delete rogue from the game already.
Blade Flurry was very strong, and I can see it getting a nerf.
This nerf is stupid though. It completely obliterates the card.

With this nerf in place I'm ready to see the sexy new weapon they are going to introduce in WoG....

Surprised it doesn't have Overload.
Poison Blade + hero power + blade flurry = consecration for 10 mana and 2 cards.
What a combo
OMG. I can't not express how BAD this nerf is. Was there even a problem with rogue having too much removal?

Totally destroyed the card~ Increasing the mana cost and decreasing its power. zzz
Somebody on the inside must be holding a grudge against this card.
