Savage Roar and Bloodlust decks can also do well I reckon. Also Priest is arguably nearly equal to Mage in this Brawl.
Messed around with Shaman a bit. Their lack of card draw and overload mechanic tanks for this brawl sadly :P
Priest is awesome. Thoughtsteal and Mind Control are MVP's. Velen's Chosen is great. Lots of small card draws to keep the opponent busy. Mass dispel makes for great tech this brawl as well. Lightbomb is fantastic board clear (although it will frag the minion summoned with light bomb :( )
I'm 11-3 with my priest. 2 losses were due to mage RNG popping flamewaker off a secret. The other loss was due to a warlock getting Tirion off a Twisted Nether (aka 8 mana to clear board and free weapon). Most of my games were against mages and locks, with one paladin thrown in for good measure. Haven't played against Druid yet, but the minions I threw in are there to counter comboni. All in all, can't complain about dat 78% winrate in a highly RNG-based ruleset when I can't get above rank 12 or 4 win arena...
People play tempo mage with the usual minions... I have to laugh whenever I see that.
Yea it truly is laughable, they're just remaking a ladder deck and hoping to cheese out opponents, only to find out Druids and Priests take a big steaming dump on their constructed deck.

The funny thing is it's not that hard to build a deck for this. I built my priest deck in 5 minutes, and only swapped 5 cards tweaking later.
spectated a game where he got Lorewalker Cho..... ENTERTAINMENT!!!
That's awesome. I had Millhouse summoned for me and got really nervous -- until I remembered that summoned creatures don't trigger their battlecry. (Whew.)
Yeah really gotta say I can't blame blizzard too hard for this week, the hearthstone community is just generally shitty people who just want easy wins even in casual mode.
Mages are so Meh in this Brawl. Priest and Druid will dominate a Mage. Druids maintain combo and its better synergized than in constructed and for Priest cards like Shadow Madness, Velans Chosen and Holy light work great. Plus a late game mind control is so sweet you can seize your opponant's biggest threat and also spawn a deathwing or Sea Giant.
Edit:
Wanted to add that after I earned my pack I have been having a blast teching in fun cards like Lorewalker Cho and Trade Prince Galywix. I have done a few Turn one Coin -> Cho and it is fun to see what your opponent does to try and remove it. Brawl is suppose to be fun and I gotta say this one is my favorite so far.
7 mages in a row......
Druid is better this week.
Druid rules, but don't spread it to mutch ^^
So fun to destroy mages XD
There is no cancer deck in hearthstone ! You are the Cancer !
I'm 13-1 so far (13 mages and 1 Paladin, lost to a mage...)

It's all right here. The answer to all your problems. http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/271941-sense-demons-combo
Really? Because of the five games I've played, each opponent I've faced has used a different class, and the one mage I ran into I dominated.

Check my deck. Its cheap and works wonders vs mages! I think Paladins are really top tier class this week because of cheap secrets.
Incorrect.... If you play a Priest and have Mind Control ready next round.
Seriously, Druid is the shit this week with that turn 1 coin into Wild Growth. Next turn, Power of the wild = GG.

Mage stomps all the non T-1 classes but has a losing matchup vs Priest [They MC your big creatures while getting a Deathwing] and Druid [More OP]
Mage; Preist and Druid being the T1 classes. [You could argue Druid is T0]

This Brawl is epic-ally fun!

edit: just want to say Druid is also my favorite for this brawl. Priest is too cheesy. Druid is so versatile
I've not seen a single warlock in the like 30 games I've played.
60%+ mage, rest is mostly druids.
I don't think I've seen warrior, rogue or shaman a single game either.

Pally shouldn't be too bad - Muster for Battle is a fantastic 3 drop for this and Avenging Wrath and Lay on Hands are also very nice. Add in Consecration, Hammer of Wrath, Blessing of Kings and even Blessed Champion and you have a pretty decent collection of spells.
It's not going to be as powerful as priest or druid, but it should be able to put up a decent fight.

Meh what can you do. Idiots will be idiots.
