We all know the new expansion is released. New rafaam has Monkey's Battlecry right now, so I watched every single Proplayer's reaction videos likw Disguised Toast and RegisKillbin on Youtube and Twitch. Disguised Toast rates this card 1 Star. Cuz Warlock has ''draw card'' hero power and each time we will have less legendary card till to be used this card. Maybe Zoolock is suitable for it like odd-liam paladin. What do you think about it? To you, will there are new cards to provide this card in the future? Or This card only fun card?
Back in the olden days, Elise Starseeker saw lots of play in Control Warrior, and it was quite common to drop the Golden Monkey with only a few cards in hand, and a few cards remaining in the deck. Turning unplayable cards like Acolyte of Pain and Shield Block into potentially game-winning Legendaries was worth it. The new card skips the first two steps of the Golden Monkey "quest" - you drop it, and turn everything into Legendaries. Zoo decks typically don't have much reach into the late-game, since they are mostly top-decking 1-drops and 2-drops on turns 8+. Turning those cards into random Legendaries might give the deck some staying power - similarly, if Control Warlock is viable, turning unplayable late-game cards into playable Legendaries might be enough to justifying playing the card. I doubt if slow decks will ever want to simply play the Arch-Villain on curve, but that doesn't make it a bad card.
The Lich King often whiffed with his DK card, and would be killed before making another, yet he saw more play than any other Legendary minion for the better part of a year. It seems unlikely that the Arch-Villain will outright whiff as often as the LK - while you might get seven or eight copies of Millhouse Manastorm, it's more likely that you'll get some shitty, cheap Legendaries, some playable ones, and one or two potential game-winning threats. We'll have to wait and see, I suppose. I'd give it 4-stars - it won't see as much play as LK, and it might not fit into every Warlock deck, but Control Warrior used to be viable in no small part due to the big effect that Elise provided . . .
"Disguised Toast rates this card 1 Star. Cuz Warlock has ''draw card'' hero power and each time we will have less legendary card till to be used this card. "
It may be a 1 star card, but that reasoning is incredibly flawed.

I dont think I understand correctly.
did disguised toast not like it because you draw to many cards from your deck, so when you play him, you dont affect very many cards? because if do, that is dumb. I dont think he is all to great for warlock because warlock has draw hero power, so they dont need this for card advantage as much as other classes might.

Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.

Yes. His logic is wrong.
Toast's rationale is premised on the idea that you want to maximize your random legendaries. This premise is flawed.
You don't want random legendaries. They are not good. You certainly don't want to maximize them. The stuff in your deck is good. That's why you put it there instead of Millhouse Manastorm. You do want the stuff in your deck.
The only time random legendaries are good is when the stuff in your deck is no longer good against your opponent. Examples: 1) Aggro v. Control. After control has stabilized, your aggro minions aren't effective. Might as well make them random legendaries and pray. 2) Control v. Control. Much of your removal, anti-aggro, and especially card draw will be dead at the end of the game. Might as well make them random legendaries and pray.
Those examples are the times you want to play something like Rafaam. It's actually better to have been through most of your deck because it means that you got better value out of the things you wanted to play.
Again, playing random legendaries is bad. You don't want to do it. It's a prayer to try to squeeze value out of cards that no longer have value in the match up.
------------
Rafaam may be bad for a lot of reasons. Maybe Warlock sucks? Maybe Zoo doesn't need this because it has something better? Maybe it's just too slow.
But if Rafaam is going to be bad, it won't be for Toast's flawed reasons.
Zoolock is gonna be hurt bad after rotation due to the loss of Happy Ghoul (Good Riddance), Keleseth, Kobold, chaingang, and dreadlord. I think we'll be seeing a more control based meta especially with warrior losing very little and infinite value + hyper aggro being gone.
When you already played Gul'dan Hero, and opponent plays all n'zoth style cards, so we don't need powerfull boardclears any more - it's great spot to play this card.
Definitely not a Zoolock card. At least not in its typical Aggro declination.
It may be included in a new Control Warlock, mimicing old style Control decks with Monkey, but only if the meta is substantially less powerful than it is now.
No I definetly use Chef Nomi for controllock. Cuz this card is like Dragoncaller Alanna and effective if you are out of card.
Yes and no. You might want to switch to "Value mode" much earlier than having Nomi ready to trigger, in Warlock.
It depends on new cards and new meta, but without replacements, Warlock seems to be going to have poor lategame, and Rafaam might be your only key card.
Surely, too early to judge. It's just a perspective.
If you are out of card you are dead. This card is bad. You will summon her and your enemy will ignore her hitting your face because you are in fatigue.

Sure it is possible like liam hakkar paladin .Why not
Looks fun, but it's not great for competitive.

Dont count on these "PROFESSIONALS" since most of them cant predict anything for controversial cards.
Or many Nat Pagles
