I'm not being funny but OP is actually right, I'm watching Savjz on stream play against it and it's absolutely ridiculous, stream is going crazy.
Also watched it on Savjz and Toast stream. It would be hilarious if they left the card untouched. Otherwise Shudderwock Shaman will turn into the next Jade Druid - somewhat weak vs. Aggro, but the ultimate Control destroyer.

Actually Gnomeferatu would be 1/(however many cards left in the deck lets say they have 25) so it'd be 1/25; the 2nd one would be 1/24, so basically still slim odds
But onto this card; Shudderwock is extremely annoying in the sense that when it's combo goes off it takes up way too long of the time therefore making the game unenjoyable. I have no issue with the card, it's quite powerful but the deck isn't (I have already spanked 4 different Shudderwock Shamans with Cubelock so it's just not that reliable of a deck). So overall, Card is awesome, animations are not.
Went 14-3 with it before getting bored to death. My thoughts go to players crying againt Cubelock being THE meta deck 10 hours ago, just to be steamrolled withing one hour to release by this OTK abomination.
I found the place, i found the Face. That's where the meta has to be. My hopes for a slower meta are crushed.
On the positive side: Gennlock is solid, Baku Dudadin is insane.
On the negative side: Tank-up! Quest failed and is still weak (+autoloss to the OTK) but Tank up! Face with full weapons, removals and face damage works like crazy.
You guys are absolutely complaining about the wrong deck. Right now, basically nothing has been able to beat cubelock at high legend. Including shudderwock. And you don't need to be playing aggro to beat shudderwock. You need to be playing a deck that puts on pressure before turn 15, which includes aggro, midrange, and even some control decks. It certainly might be too good once the list gets figured out, but it's a bit early to make that claim, and it's definitely not too good in the current incarnations.
I'm really curious but didnt blizzard implement the double rope so that the card doesn't eat up into oppinets turns a while ago? Or is that an animation glitch?

There have been decks very well capable of beating Cubelock forever. That's not gone.
What decks? I'd like to know. The decks that beat cubelock before are all gone with rotation. So if you know a good deck that beats cubelock consistently, please let me know and I'll go get #1 legend with it.
The huge problem with OTK decks in general is that they force aggro decks to be played to beat them and everybody hates aggro decks. I don't know why they force this mechanic all the time.
And this Shudderwock deck is much much worse than any OTK before because its a battlecry which repeats battlecries and there's no card in the game which counters battlecries.
Currently the only possible ways to prevent the OTK: burn the cards, discard them with treachery + howlfiend or rush them with some stupid aggro deck.
1. Burning the cards is unlikely and Coldlight Oracle is in Wild. 2. Noone wants to play a howlfiend deck 3. they heal for 24 dmg with healing rain so good luck
I think this deck will be a problem and they will quickly nerf it.
I don't care about animations, people trashing about animation times is jsut ridiculous. The card is broken, no skill no fun, just launch this at turn 9 after filling your deck with battlecrys and its done... Animations... people is jsut ridiculous. The card is broken. Period.
Tbh, im only tired of it because of how easy it to achieve the combo, what the cards shaman has, and the new cards provided the combo is easy achieved without losing much. I think the bug fix for roping turn is definitely coming.

Well my asshole played them in exactly the opposite way, instead of sarronite chang gang- 3 times deal 3 damage to opposite hero, add a copy of a minion to your deck, grumble battlecry, it goes in vice versa doing shit nothing!

I've played 17 ranked games and have seen 10 Shaman's and 7 hunters, nothing else....and good lord is Shudderwock annoying
Played a few shamans with my Baku paladin, as long as you keep board pressure up then they can't really throw out Shudderwock or they lose
I'm completely fine with the combo, just fix the god damn animation time...
To clarify, is the animation simply long and annoying, or is it actually impacting the game by reducing or skipping the opponent turn?

I win against it easy with an aggressive hunter or paladin, problem is I want to play control.

This is going to be the quickest nerf in HS history.
Next nerf, "Shudderwock is moved to the hall of fame because we don't know how to solve the problem".
