they did get some good cards but like all the other calsses and not like super op cards like priest in msog so how from unplayable they became so good?
The archetype which made paladins almost extinct was Reno Fucking Jackson. Without him the strong pressure from paladin in mid game no longer allows for "i dont care about my HP because i have reno" tactic.
Also paladin finally got their strong 2 drop which is murlock. All in all murlock paladin is the strongest paladin deck atm. 2nd best in my opinion is elemental buffadin which is strong due to very good synergy between handbuffs and elementals. Also many Un'Goro cards have good synergy with handbuffs.

Crackling Razormaw is the card which makes hunter viable.
Paladin is viable because the meta slowed down.
