Why quest shaman need only 6 minions to be played giving a broken hero power, so broken and powerful the players completely ignore the strong hero card Hagatha because her is pathetic weak in comparison and mage quest with a extremely weak reward need 10 spells to be played? It is time to nerf the quest shaman to play 10 battlecrys before reward?
Why evolve is only 1 mana? The 0 manas spell is strong but ok because only upgrade one minion but the entire board for only 1 mana? The card need to be nerfed to 3 manas?
I agree. Shaman needs some tweaking to get balanced. It's the cancer of the current meta, specially after this last event. It's not funny to play against them at all.
just play a control deck and outlast it. The fact I have to see the same stupid ass deck 70% of the time makes the game a complete fucking bore and I don't even bother to play. Games take way too long and that's not what I call fun. Nobody wants to sit and play a game for 20-35 minutes against the same dumbass deck all day long. Hearthstone frankly isn't even worth playing right now.
If Blizzard would just swallow their giant pridw and adjust cards every so weeks itd be a better job. Shaman quest is a little too strong because of all the lackeys and bouncing? No big deal just tweak it a bit see what happens.
Instead we have to deal with stale meta after stale meta where ppl flock to what is currently most or second most or third most broken. Is your heart set on a deck that's tier 3? Well tough shit. It won't get any help nor will the broke shit get fixed.
Then if a nerf does happen they walk away from it like see, we make an effort. Balance takes pruning. i think most players would give up the dust refund for regular adjustments if they had the choice.
@live4 So all cards become viable for a week and you need a full collection to play at a reasonable rank? Don’t think that would find much love in the community.
I would suggest to change the hero power to become ( the next minion you play will trigger battlecry twice ) Only one minion will have the effect
this will be a reasonable balance fix and will still be playable.
Indeed. With this way we can see control versions of it such involves cards like Swampqueen Hagatha. Bringing a restriction such as this would make them think to choose the most profitable order to play cards, which they are not doing atm.
Are you gonna steal 2 minions from your opponent, or add 2 copies of each battlecry minion on your board to your hand? Then at least don't play the rest of the turn with battlecries triggering twice
Not sure if it needs the nerf, but I think limiting the Hero Power to only Shaman cards would present an interesting change to the deck building; No Life Drinker or Lackeys which are probably the most unbalanced factors. However, I think the power level of some decks in current meta is so high, adjusting cards in isolation is completely self defeating, correctly balancing this meta is probably very tricky.
... and actually, meta's not too far from balanced right now imo, although I didn't see what happened in the last event etc, but only warlock hasn't a major say, and it might still come through. Isn't it Evolve shaman/Priest/paladin ahead of the pack atm?
I doubt they will nerf evolve its a wild card that will be here just until next expansion, but yeah i hope the quest gets nerfed since i opened a gold one

Most Control decks can't reliably survive Quest Shaman's burst, nor grind it out of resources fast enough to beat it through board. The best decks against Quest Shaman are aggro lists that can generate tempo early enough to push the Shaman too far behind before it can get on the board. Even so, these decks are still only favoured 4% - 9% and if they don't curve out and finish the game fast they get bullied out of the game very quickly. Shaman in general is a problem with the aggro list also having pretty mad win rates across the board. This suggests that the crossover cards (Evolve, Mogu Fleshshaper, Mutate etc) are the problematic cards. See Data Reaper's Legend meta deck power chart below to see how out of control Shaman is right now.

simple answer: NO
there are more annoying and op ones
I'm not online, it's just your imagination
I don't know if they need a nerf.. but I just checked my log and I face 68% shaman at rank 5-10 EU,,,

Just sent Evolve back to the hell where it came from .. This should fix it.

Mage Quest could use a buff to Discovering a card instead of a Random card.

Evolve is quite annoying. Cheating out big minions is never good FeelsBadMan
Last time we had a Shamanstone era they butchered the class in the following year. Expect the return of Freeze Shaman in April 2020.
Just play priest
Why Evolve and Mutate are so cheap ? So powerfull and so cheap. Don't understand.

What happens when you remove the good aggro decks from the meta when N'Zoth exists, I wonder?
