Yes, shaman needs to be nerfed and soon. It is killing the hype that came with this expansion, both because of the win rate and the number of people playing it. The power level of shaman is off the charts and its ruining the meta
Yes I agree. At the moment quest shaman is mainly countered by control shaman. I am trying to play control and I tend to beat Galakrond shaman both quest or not simply with lots of AoE healing and my still favourite hero card Hagatha. At the end they run out of fuel and lose by fatigue. However it is NOT 100%
I thought they might nerf quest shaman not due it being op but simply due to the fact that so many were playing it (20%). Last time there were this many players playing once class they nerfed multiple shaman cards.
Now the issue isn't really quest shaman, the top decks in the game are either Galakrond Shaman or Galakron Overload Shaman, both with an insane win rate. And even more shaman players than before. As someone who enjoys shaman (it's my only golden hero) I agree it's time to balance this.
yes, get it all the way out of here. with the quickness might i add.
it just isnt fun to play against. I play highlander hunter and beat it most times, but after facing around 10 in a row on ladder you just have to laugh at how ridiculous it is. How many broken cards did they think they had to print to make the class good? its been like 3-4 expansions and they print over statted cards for it each time, which would be ok if it was like 1-2, but its like 4-5.
What also strikes me is , we got so many great Dragons , and instantly a 4 mana 8/8 with rush to counter them . How are we supposed to counter Shaman?? They have so many rush guys to dominate the board and endless cardgeneration ( + Mogu shenanigans) .
I usually don't like nerf threads this early in any expansion, but this time Blizzard has outdone themselves... Why is Shaman getting so much value, why haven't they learned from the shudderwock mistake. Crazy shit like this is only fun when you are the one pulling it off, but its no fun being at the other end of the stick.
From my last 8 games I played 7 Shamans!! New Expansion has come out, you wanna try out some memes, fun decks toy around with some new synergies and classes, but nooo, all your brain cells get activated asking yourself how to beat this stupid Shaman deck, without going mirror...
Holy wrath paladin does actually counter shaman. What makes shaman strong is all the invokes are insanely efficient removal, and galakrond + shudderwock is a strong enough endgame against most decks. Holy wrath pala doesn't care about it's stuff getting removed and shaman just doesn't pressure fast enough to win. The problem with that is Holy wrath pala doesn't run any new cards, so if you wanna play a new deck you basically have to play shaman. It completely kill the hype because you can either play shaman, lose to shaman, or play 0 new cards.
