So a week after TGT came out, let's discuss the Paladin cards.
- Eadric the Pure : I did not believed in this guy, and now I've tested it I think I was right. Those who thought it was such a great legendary must be disappointed now. He has ridiculous stats and his effect is lackluster. He can only be decent against a big Varian Wrynn turn or against Handlock ... but Equality already does the job better. Using this guy on only 1 minion is so trash in comparison withAldor Peacekeeper.
- Mysterious Challenger : The sleeper of the expansion for Paladin, even if most of us already saw his potential. Nothing to say except he created a whole new archetype by himself. Nice card, nice effect, glad it exists.
- Enter the Coliseum : This card is awkward. Dead in the hand most of the time, it can be a big board clear at times. In a control deck with only one Equality, this can be decent. Not as good as Brawl or Lightboob, but it can clear Ysera or Malygos pretty easily.
- Tuskarr Jouster : Well, I've been disappointed by this card. It looks so good and many say that it's a new staple but ... I win maybe 20% of my jousts and I'm playing a control Paladin ! Maybe it's better in a midrange deck.
- Competitive Spirit : Nice new mechanic. Helps aggro but I find this card funny.
- Murloc Knight : Well I did not saw that coming at all. I opened a golden one in my preordered packs and dusted it ... oh so many regrets. One of the best cards of the expansion.
- Grand Crusader : Nice addition to the 6th spot. A 5/5 that draws a card is good value. Until now she did not drew me anything significant, but the body is nice.
- Silver Hand Regent : SUCH a good card for Token Pally. Totally replaced Warhorse Trainer in my deck. I did not believed in this card and I was wrong. One of the best cards for Pally in this expansion, imo.
Blizzard were tricky. I was one of those complaning that Blizz were giving Paladin cards to all classes. But in the end, no class is wanting to play Silver Hand Regent or Grand Crusader ... except Pally. Paladin got 2 more class cards, in the end, and good ones.
So, what do you guys think of those cards ? Are there any neutrals you'd want to add ?
What do you mean nobody wants to play Silver Hand Regent? It's great value in any inspire deck, I've used it successfully on warlock and druid and less successfully on mage.
But, yeah, much unexpected respect to the Murloc Knight :)

- Argent Lance : As bad as everybody thought.
- Competitive Spirit : Nice new mechanic. Helps aggro but I find this card funny.

- Warhorse Trainer : I was highly disappointed by this card. I hoped it would be the Silver Hand Recruit synergy I was waiting for since Quartermaster, but for now I didn't find any uses for this card. Replaced it with Silver Hand Regent.
- Seal of Champions : I did not try this card yet. Can be good in a buff deck but seems a bit lackluster.
Neutrals : some neutrals has been definitely strong for the Paladin class. I won't make all this list here but talk about the most important imo.
- Justicar Trueheart : Any need to explain further ? So strong in Midrange, as I expected.
- Chillmaw / Twilight Guardian : New staples for Dragodin, especially the Guardian.
- Grand Crusader : Nice addition to the 6th spot. A 5/5 that draws a card is good value. Until now she did not drew me anything significant, but the body is nice.

agree that Justicar Trueheart is a must have to most midrange/control paladin and Murloc Knight had been a huge surprise for me as well XD

Sure Eadric the Pure is not Bolvar Fordragon, or Flame Leviathan ... but frankly on the 7 mana spot, he can't compete with Dr. Boom, Chillmaw or even Troggzor the Earthinator. I would even play Guardian of Kings over him.
About Silver Hand Regent, it's not bad for other classes, but far from as powerful as in Paladin (with Quartermaster, of course).
