Not sure what list that is, but if it is the Secrets/Bow list then yeah I see that one alot (rank 8). And I am happy when I do. Generally just armor up and drop Rags/Geddon on them so their secrets don't trigger and then clean up once my armor is stupid high.
noone ever claimed killing a hunter deck is hard with a control warrior spending 15k dust crafting some 7 legendaries

I dont think it's UTH that's overpowered, it's Starving Buzzard. That card needs to be nerfed to 'if you played a beast this hand, draw a card at the end of your turn." It's so disgusting to see a Hunter drop his last two cards and then draw 3-4 more from this one autoplay.

Legendarys and expensive decks do not a solution make. Ask the same warrior with the same cards how they like their priest/shaman/and in some builds, paladin matchups and they will be singing a different tune. The cost/legendary count has nothing to do with why it beats hunter, actually I generally beat them without these cards. You really only need a couple "yeti" type minions and removal/armor up/shield block to beat them.
Actually the hunter nerfrequires changes to other classes If every class had a way to destroy secrets then hunters wouldn't be so grossly overpowered.; priest: 1 cost card: destroy all secrets gain 2 life per secret Walock 1 cost card: destroy all secrets; Target Demon gains +1/+1 per secret destroyed this way Druid: 2 cost: destroy all secrets gain a temporal mana crystal per secret destroyed this way. (only durng that turn)
Warrior: 1 cost Destroy all Secrets: your weapon gets +1/+1 per secret destroyed this way.; if you don't have a weapon equipped equip a 1/1 Weapon.
Paladin cost: 2 Destroy all secrets: summon 3 1/1 Minons to te battle field. Mage: Destroy all secrets: All enemy minons take 2 damage per secret destroyed this way. Rogue: Cost: 0 Destroy all secrets SHamman: cost 3: Destroy all secrets; your totems get +2 max hp per secret destroyed this way.

These cards would all be terrible. They would need to cycle for them to be playable and then they would be either OP or garbage depending on the card. So basically, the only solution would be to make flare a neutral (or attach the effect to a neutral minion like Acidic Swamp Ooze for weapons).
Note that I don't think hunters are OP or annoying and that they should be nerfed, but I believe that every card, including secrets, should have counterplay. If we had a secret-destroying card a few months ago Blizzard wouldn't have needed to nerf mages into oblivion.
I'm so glad there is prejudice against playing hunter/zoo/[insert FotM deck here]. People like that make the life so much easier for those of us who play to win.
Yeah; i realized it after a while, but i was at my grandma's house so i couldn't edit the post.
What about this for a Neutral Minion?.
Costs 2: t's 1/2 Minion: Battlecry: Destroy all enemy secrets; gives you a little of board presence and can be bounced back by brewmasters or shadowsteps (don't look at me i wouldn't waste a shadowstep like that but people doing it wouldn't be unheard of.)
Edit: although i wouldn't mind seeing thsoe cards either; added bonus into a coin flip :D.
not entirely it could still work just having a 2 secret killers wont do much when hunters pack 4 secrets in each rush deck. thats to say they dont make it a legendary card.
hunter comes and goes in this game it seems...First they were supper op with the original UTH...then it got nerfed then it got changed again and they are now not as op but pretty damn strong.....And yeah there is little skill in its play once you understand the mechanics it uses to play but still I know many who still cant get these concepts.
Playing Cycle hunter is very different, it takes a lot of skill to play. Personally I do not play it, but I know how hard to play because you do not have the 3 charge minions.
Unleash the Hounds is grossly overpowered. Its previous price of 4 mana was actually correct. The problem is that the entire hunter class is underpowered with lots of cards that rely on flimsy synergy or that are just generally too weak. UtH made the class playable even at high levels. Nerfing UtH (which imo should be done) would also require buffing or changing a lot of other Hunter cards to make the class decent/good. This is a pretty big task that could eff up a lot of things.
It's no more OP than Paladin having the ability to reduce all minion's health to 1, then sweep them away with consecration, or Priest having the ability to double minion's health, then match their attack to it - along with stealing cards from the opponent's deck, or Mage having the ability to morph your biggest threats, sweep the board clear at round 7, and finish you off with Pyro round 10, after beating you down with fireballs that ignore taunts .... ALL of them have OP tricks. UTH is tame compared to some of them.
I think people just pick out the Hunter to moan about because there seems to be a lot of them around atm. If they faced mostly Paladin they'd be on here moaning that equality/humility/consecration was OP. You won't see them moan about the OP 'tricks' they use to win either ;)
OP: If Hunter is so overpowered, I suggest trying it yourself, and come back and show us how far you climb.
I am getting a little tired of Hunters. I did alright last season, but this one the lower ranks (15 or so) is absolutely flooded with the bloody things and I find even the poor ones (who like this latest one, burnt an explosive trap on nothing but my Thalnos, and no he didn't have the bow up) are giving me trouble. Maybe I'm just playing poorly, but I just hate coming up against one.
Hunters are ruining the game for me too and I play one. My main is a Priest with 362/500 wins and I bet I've played 800+ games to get that...Priests need some love NOW. (And NO...I'm not that bad as a Priest.)
As for Hunters, I think it's the synergy between pieces that is broken. Every cards buffs another which buffs another. Just got facerolled by a Hunter with him using 2x Hunter's Mark. Nothing like seeing "Equality" on a Hunter too.
Whatever the situation is, Blizzard needs to get a hold of this SOONER than LATER. I can sense far too many people burned out already and this game is hella fun...if you don't come up against a Hunter...

I do it with various decks...

Questioning the validity of the original point is one thing, trying to compare said point to the most ridiculous edge case in the game is another.

They are ought to give every class the chance to destroy secrets. Only Hunters can clear secrets currently.
There should be a neutral minion that can destroy one random secret. that would be fair to be all honest hell you could make it epic if need be.
I would be surprised if the next bunch of new cards doesn't include something like this. At which point the Hunter rush deck becomes almost useless.
Poetic.
Yeah they're very frustrating because 0 skill UtH, you (we) have to adapt to the meta or die. Simple as that.

1 small thing I think that can nerf hunters is to make silence owls non-beasts. I a pirate 2-1 silence card instead would be better.

I play random decks and get rekt by Hunter rush. I pick Hunter rush and rush another Hunter to dead by using a single Owl.
I think we must ban Owl. It's too OP.
face rolled way thru ranks with hunter, so easy
