Well, according to my Hearthstone tracker, these are the classes I've met on ladder this season (rank 17-3)
Priest - 2% (winrate in my favor)
Paladin - 3% (winrate in my favor)
Hunter - 39% (winrate in Hunter favor)
Warlock - 30% (winrate in Warlock favor)
Druid - 6% (equal)
Rogue - 4% (100% winrate)
Mage - 3% (100% winrate)
Shaman - 2% (winrate in my favor)
Warrior - 11% (winrate in my favor)
You cannot argue with those statistics
The vast majority of players I've faced so far in the new season has been either warlocks or paladins, only met 1 hunter so far infact and thats out of about 30 games.
Now heres my problem with your "statistics", you're not providing any data on how many games you've played, you only present us with the percentage, how large is your actual database here? In other words: How many matches did you play, please don't just provide an estimate as you've got the percentage thus you should clearly have the exact numbers availible.
Furthermore I find that the types of deck I encounter vary vastly dependant on what rank I'm currently at.
Finally: No, I dont think hunters are broken, I think the rushdecks are absolutely horrible but thats what we're looking at right now and if you dont feel like attempting to counter them then all you can do is suck it up and accept that you will eventually lose to some topdecking rushlock/UTH
After a week into season, I'll post the new season stats, even though ladder is a big mumbo-jumbo at the moment, since I've cleared the data for the new season :)
Literally one-third to one-half of the games I've played in the past few days have been against Hunters. They all use Timberwolf, UTH, and Buzzard. It's just ridiculous. It's bad for the game. Boring and stale. If you don't play hunter you're just a moron at this point.
There's plenty of decks that beat hunter. Either play hunter or play a deck to beat hunter. This game is real fun like that! i hope it never changes........................

Perhaps because having poly in your hand by turn 4 is more likely than having double innervate + coin + rag on turn 3. :)
Thanks FOO(The Banner God)!
I on average pull that combo 4 times a day...its not extremely common but it does happen.
To have a discernible difference between 2% and 3% there need to have been at least 58 games in the sample set.
To have a distinct 2%, 3%, and 4% there needs to have been at least 89 games in the sample set.

How do you keep track of those stats? are you doing it manually?
Here's stats from today's games. Really versatile number of decks I'm playing against.

There are lots of decks that counter Hunter, they just tend to be much slower - and so aren't as popular in constructed.
Unfortunately, my favored constructed deck is Giant Warlock, which pretty consistently dies to Hunter because it uses life total as a resource.
So, I switched to my Druid deck and leveled up a bit, and the new ladder ranking I'm at (around 15) seems to be blessedly free of Hunters.
