You can't harass members who play Face Hunter, nor are they compelled to make preemptive apologies or justifications for playing it. They don't hack or crack their opponents' game, they simply play existing cards that form a specific deck. If you suck at countering Face Hunter, you should blame the designers, not the community.
Mindrange Hunter is absolutely going to be the way of the future, mark my words. As mentioned previously, this card helps to accelerate the clock on opponents and puts a-- while weak bodied-- 6/3 card on the board. Is it optimal at the moment? Not necessarily. But as more cards are released can I see this card absolutely seeing play in midrange? Yes.
If you're playing Control Hunter with your hero power as the win condition... maybe..?
Nah, probably not, but I wouldn't say it's totally off the charts. I mean, Necrotic Aura was a pain in the ass. Or maybe that was because it was 0 mana in Heroic.
Very good for midrange hunter that need that extra push of damage especially against control warrior, priest and paladin. It would rank below Highmane for the 6 slot for now.
Shaman: x4 effect [You select totems on demand instead of 1 in 4]
Warlock: Unquantifiable but if you take it as preventing a hunter hero power; it's a 2 mana cost bonus. So 2 mana -> 4 mana so x2.
Hunter: 2->3 damage. x1.5
Also particularly notable that Preists and Warriors; both of which are probobly likely to consider running this; laugh at Hunters hero power now instead of them canceling out.
The problem is that you can't really use it as a win-condition if priest and warrior or getting buffed to 4 hp protection and hunter is only doing 3 damage. Hunter is losing ground if both people play this card on turn 6.
This Hero power can permanently be obtained till the end of a given game through Justicar Trueheart.

Way too slow for the current hunter archetype
Control hunter boys
Don't Complain, Use Your Brain!
because control hunter wants to play weak minions and deal more face damage. Obviously.

''With great power comes great electricity bill.''
''I am Malganis. I am a TURTLE!''
Best card: Malygos
Steamwheedle Sniper boys
Don't Complain, Use Your Brain!
I could see that in a midrange. Wouldn't be terrible, at least it would shave through priest and warrior a bit more.

This is the worst of the bunch but frankly that's ok. I doubt too many respectable people will disagree.
ME LIKE THAT
meh compared to the others

If the set encourages control hunter somehow or miracle hunter this might happen :)

Hunter gets the least of any class.
Warrior: x2 effectiveness
Priest: x2 effectiveness
Mage: x2 effect
Rouge: x2 effect
Druid: x2 effect
Paladin: x2 effect

"Live Free or Die Hard"
so every class gets their hero power doubled except hunter. legit.
Yes
heh. looks like the huters as we know them will never ever run this card cause of this
vs or is not a thing. hunter is behind for 1 damage, so we will see hunters playing this only if meta will change so hard
This card sucks for Hunter, if a Warrior or Priest stabilizes using this card then concede is the only option.
Typical Blizzard, they try to make slower Hunter a thing, then add a card that completely kills it before its even had a chance to start.
4 damage would be way too much, it´s fine
