So fucking stupid they delayed this two weeks.  Killed all my hype completely.  The cards are retarded, I haven't given a shit about ladder shit for well over a year now.  This is the only good kind of content Blizzard ever puts out for this game anymore and they delayed it to make more money.  Holy fuck that is stupid.

posted a message on So... what's up with Monster Hunt?

    Quote from WorldsEdje >>

Considering how much time people spent with Dungeon Run when K&C launched, I think they didn't want to draw too many players away from multiplayer modes around launch time. It's probably their most profitable period in terms of sales, as people are most excited to try new decks and are more likely to drop a few extra dollars to finish off that new deck while the meta is still exciting.

So then instead of playing Monster Hunt and being on the game being encouraged to buy packs, I'll instead never boot the game up because the only feature I had any interest in isn't even there yet.  This is doing the opposite of what you suggest for me.  The new cards are so terrible there's no reason to even touch multiplayer.  This was the only interesting feature in this expansion and they did this lmao.

It's got some bugs still, but it's pretty fun.

I am wondering some things though. Is the AI cheating or scaling differently depending on your class/cards? Or is it learning your playstyle like Mortal Kombat or other fighting games do to cheat to have a higher chance to beat you every consecutive time you play them?

So for example, ran priest twice and made a pretty crap deck the first time, then a decent one the second. But made it to the boss both times before dying. I then switched to Druid and made some insane decks. Just stupid explosive and synergistic and the treasures I was able to put with it should make it almost unbeatable, but somehow, I was always paired with the harder enemies. They always topdecked answers. Always. If I had an advantage, it would topdeck or play something to immediately stop it. I got to the boss the first time with some struggle. But then every time i replayed Druid, it got harder and harder and I didn't see the boss again because I died before it. By the 5th run of Druid, I died on the second enemy after the first almost killed me.

     Neither.  It's literally random.

That's good, but it would be nice if you could add the starting deck list of each class, the list of bonus we can get for each class and the decks of each opponent.

All of that info is much easier to figure out on your own than this info they tediously compiled which will be used no doubt to figure out BiS picks.

It was fun in the first few runs, but gets tedious everytime you lose to some random leveled up boss in the latter stages. I'm not sure if i'm extremely unlucky or just dumb but i can't finish a run for a class. I can't be nailed to my chair or my phone glued to my hand all day just to finish this and get the card back. Beating the Lich King with all nine classes was something but this one is beyond my patience. If only you can't go back from the start once you lose like in arena with three chances, i might try this again.

You're not supposed to win the run very often.  It's hard on purpose.  If you had three lives or the bosses were easier then everyone would already be done with all 9 classes.  The fact that it's the hardest PVE content ever released to clear is honestly nothing but amazing.  I'm so glad I'm not done in one day for the first time in a Hearthstone release.

Yeah, we can just get up early. And because Blizzard is actually smart and sets their quarterly releases on weekend we don't have to...wait what? Its 5 am on a workday again? @#!#@#!

It's just a fucking release time.  You don't have to be on it the instant it goes live.  You'll fucking live.

Can I nominate this for the most over-rated card of the set? People can't see that dumping your hand is never good. At least Deathwing leaves you with a body on board, and that big boy is not even played in most decks. Food for thought, guys, food for thought.

You don't understand what this means being able to discard your entire hand and completing the quest in one turn (while also being able to controllably stack a hand of cards you want to discard and actually have them be discarded).  This spell being 4 mana means you wipe the board and still have mana left to tap and play something.  Discardlock will never be a tier 1 deck but this will help it a lot.

Stupid people don't realize the impact Innervate and SP nerfs have on Jade.  Idol isn't the problem.  The deck is significantly worse now.

I'm scared to open most of the cards in this set.  Well over 50% of it is completely unplayable in standard.  People are overhyping the hell out of so many bad cards.

    This will never happen.

Based on?  There's absolutely no logical reason they'd never do anything with Monk and Demon Hunter.  They don't have to be full on classes, just like DK's aren't.

posted a message on Do you want Arthas to be deck-defining like the old gods?
    Quote from NeoSeraphi >>

Why does everyone assume the Lich King legendary will be Arthas and not Nerzhul? Nezhul was the Lich King for the vast majority of the storyline. Yes, Arthas is the boss you face in the Icecrown Citadel, but we never get the chance in the Hearthstone storyline because all the heroes are enslaved as Deathknights instead.

Because a Lich King card is a billion times more marketable.  Let's not act like lore has any place in Hearthstone.
