Just asking about that. In my opinion it is definitelly Haunted Creeper. The fact that it is 2 mana 3/4 with no drawback and possibility of being played in every archetype except combo really defines this card as a best standalone one.
What does that even mean "best standalone card"? Cards are at their best with synergy. I say Call to Arms at 4 mana is the most busted card at the moment.

Best standalone card means how good it is without any synergy. I know that cards get better when they synergize with other cards, thats why I pointed out and wrote a standalone word.
Sunkeeper is fairly weak as a standalone card. It can reduce the attack/health of some opponent minions but its primary use is to buff your own (not a standalone function, as it requires other cards to be in play to reach full effect).
You're technically right but I'm also voting for Tarim because needing some other minions to be good is not a very difficult situation to achieve especially in paladin. Tarim has won me games on its own basically, it's such a great swing and feels so helpless to play against it sometimes.
As standalone card I would choose Deathstalker Rexxar

Dr. Boom
I'd probably say Loatheb, although I don't really think that 'standalone card' matter much - Synergy is what makes the best decks.
This kind of a weird question. How do you answer “what is best?”
Most powerful minion? Probably Tirion Fordring.
Most Value? Either Call to Arms or Ultimate Infestation
Wins the most games? Leeroy Jenkins

I would say Deathstalker Rexxar is the best, standalone. It's not the best because it's in Hunter, but standalone, it would be.
2 mana Fiery War Axe was probably the best card on rate, but that's probably not eligible. Mad Scientist and Fireball would be my picks.
Old innervate was the best card
surprised nobody said sunkeeper tarim..

I think firefly :)
For everyone asking what he means by "stand alone," he answers it in the OP. Reading comprehension is your friend.
Fireball
Magma Rager

What about Sylvanas Windrunner?
