If this deck gets 5 upvotes, I will do a mulligan guide. At 55 will be an overveiw and matchups guide.
Before anyone starts to yell to me about "Netdecking from Purple" I have to say that I didn't know that he made a similar deck. Please leave supportive comments, not irrelevant or false comments. I love good feedback, as it helps me as well learn more about this deck. Thank you.
Overveiw: The main goal of the deck is to: A) Use control spells and Jade Claws to deal with aggro, B) Use Murmuring Elemental and Coldlight Oracle to mill Warlocks, Priests, or any other control deck that finds themselves with too many cards in hand, and C) Develop Jades, which can easily get up to 12/12 consistently. Using Evolve or Thrall, Deathseer to turn your minions, which are all understated for their cost, into more (hopefully) better minions, with either abilities that you need like taunt, or just overall stronger minions. This deck is very F2P, with only one required legendary in Aya Blackpaw. The other cards can be replaced quite easily.
Mulligan:
VS. Warlock: Devolve, Coldlight Oracle and Hex. Those three will win you games if it is cubelock. If it is zoo, Devolve will still stop their minions which are too overstated for their cost.
VS. Mage: Jade Claws, Healing Rain, and Maelstrom Portal. Those are the cards that you need to survive their secret earlygame.
VS. Paladin: Devolve, Maelstrom Portal, Volcano, Jade Clawsand Lightning Storm. Whether it is Dude Pally or Murloc, you need at least a few of those cards to survive the early game.
VS. Priest: This one is tricky due to the variants priest has. But you always want to keep Devolve, Jade Claws and Coldlight Oracle. They can/will Control the early game and potentially mill him if he is combo.
Those are the only 4 classes I have really seen on the ladder. I will update if I come across anymore.
Card Choices:
Skulking Geist is used as I have seen a few Jade Druids, many Combo Priests, and it removes Dark Pact and Mortal Coil from Warlock.
Thrall, Deathseer, as I have said before, is good as it can evolve your understated minions into much better creatures. His hero power is also better better than the regular Shaman hero power.
Card Replacements:
Skulking Geist and Thrall, Deathseer can be replaced with either two Evolves if you face enough secret mages, as those are good at popping Counterspell. It is also useful if you are short on dust or a F2P player.
Flametounge Totem and Manatide Totem can also be replaced with a second Hex, second Jinyu Waterspeaker or either a silence or, if you face enough Murloc Pallys, a Hungry Crab
Oceanminer suggested another F2P replacement: a Tainted Zealot for Rummaging Kobold
Several other people have suggested running Grumble, Worldshaker if you own that card. I do not. so refer to the comments if you want to try it out.
EDIT: Rank 3, 19-2, 91% winrate
EDIT: I'm using 2 evolves instead of Geist and and Deathseer due to secret mages.
WOW I'm amazed at how many likes this deck has gotten. I'm currently working on the Mulligan guide. Thanks for your patience!
Here is Whitebeard1 playing a few games with this deck. Shout out to him for letting me use this video!
Kiwiinbacon also gave me a great video to use:
Please leave a comment or a like!
Thanks buddy :). Very true definitely can screw you over but sometimes I like to get rid of the evolves in some games to improve my draw. I think I'll take them out add some different cards and see how it goes great deck!
Forgot to say but feel free to feature my video if you think it's good enough :D.
Yes, Geist can easily be replaced. Eater of secrets, second hex, or crab could be put in depending on what you are facing. I put in Geist because I faced 3 jades in a row.
Is Grumble, Worldshaker have a place in this deck?
currently 6-3 i only lose to dude pally i replaced [card]Skulking Geist[/card] with Grumble, Worldshaker
Thank you guys for your feedback. Love the videos, and especially learning slightly new ways to play the deck. Thank you!
Had a bunch of fun with this deck, lots of interesting and powerful interactions! Here's a couple of games with it;
Definitely going to play a few more with it, havn't been hitting many Warlocks lately and really keen to get them with Murmuring + Coldlight. Thanks for the deck & mulligan guide, I really appreciate the effort you put in!
damn this deck is actually pretty fun and pretty good in the few games i've played
