given the fact that Echo of Medivh is 4 mana, this should be nerfed to at least 5 mana.

wild quest mage at the moment is way worse than Shudderwock was before they fixed it. on shaman you wanted to conceede but you couldn't, here you don't know if he has everything in place to finish you off and sometimes you sit there so many minutes waiting to see if he eventually kills you or not....

disgusting. whoever allowed this card to be printed as a 4-mana should be demoted.

This card will have to be nerfed, eventually. Enables too much of the degenerate combo. Not now, of course, these combos with tortollan are still relatively slow and counterable, but I am sure something will come eventually which will make it obnoxious to play against.

Now is possible with this card do an otk combo in standard. I don't know if it can create a competitive deck, but the combo is this:

During at any point in the game, play the 2 mana 3/2 that work with the quests or side-quests to have a coin (maybe don't need if you start second).

at turn 8 or later: Sorcerer's Apprentice into Sorcerer's Apprentice, and play double Potion of Illusion. This way you will have four apprentice in your hand that costs 1.

With 10 mana crystals play Archmage Antonidas, the coin to add a crystal and a Fireball, and then play the four Sorcerer Apprentice.

I hope this will never be strong. Knowing that this combo exists scares me...

Streamers pulled this off multiple times now, but the Antonidas Combo is not even the strongest.

Mozaki, Master Duelist is the synergy card for this. One Arcane Missile for over 30 was already played etc.

House Dimir, anyone? At least flavor-wise.

Hello Big Rogue.  Turn 9 Lorekeeper Polkelt, turn 10 togwaggle's treasure, find 3 giant deathrattles like Scrapyard Colossus or Cursed Vagrant, play 3 minions for 0 mana, play this card, replay 3 minions with giant deathrattles as 1/1s. 

With this card in your deck, Tortollan Pilgrim can add 1 cost copies all your minions to your hand including itself, which means that you can play Tortollan Pilgrim multiple times at the same turn and have multiple copies of your minions.

Then double vargoth into quest = 3 extra turns = you won.

Better than Molten Reflection for the Apprentices...but in Reno Mage, could you run this instead of Zola the Gorgon in some cases?

The problem with this is that you could be holding another dead card in hand until you complete the quest, just so you ca basically do an 8 mana pass, which could lose you the game sometimes. Plus, if you can't win in 2 turns, when would 3 turns matter? Against druid? so you have a dead card in your deck and hand so you can sometimes beat druid more often.
