Strictly a Big Warrior card, to pull out with Commencement, even then no Mana reduction which feels underwhelming.
I guess this card is a good red carpet at turn 7 for Troublemaker to walk in at turn 8 LOL.
Personally I think this card is not at the height of a legendary, much less for a character of the level of importance of Sir Lothar...
I would have preferred something like:
(or even changing to 10 MANA)
isn't that just worse?
look out guys your version can trade into a faceless behemoth, so legendary!
You can read this as a 7mana 10/4 removal. In a situation where opponent have a single minion fo at least 6/7 stats or lower, this is good. With 2 average minions on your opponent board probably still good as he will eat a minion + at least another card to be removed or it will become very simillar to the 8 mana demon from demon hunter if not better. Point is: will there be a slot in your control/midrange/aggro or wathever this will be included in, deck for a card that does this? Well probably not XD so overall on stats it has some kind of positive EV but is just not that card included in the meta unless something wierd to the meta happens. Please dont judge this card trash as soon as you read it, think about it for a few secs
Varian, despite being 1 mana more, just seems straight up better in so many ways. Maybe Warrior runs both though?
if there's some truly disgusting stealth cards that dominate the meta, this would be good. Otherwise, dumb minion the effect can't even hit face LOL
Reminds me of Darius Crowley but you have no control over who it attacks. Seems niche
People are judging this card as if you have no control over when you play him. Against a wide, shallow board, Warrior has plenty of other options to choose from, so of course you would not play this. But there are plenty of times when you're up against one or two medium-to-large minions, in which case this is both removal and a huge threat, especially if buffed by Conditioning.
If it was "at the end of your turn attack a random enemy. if you kill a minion gain 3/3" that would be awesome. Otherwise, not enough power for such an iconic character.
