Brann Bronzebeard, Baron Rivendare, Leper Gnome, Princess combo??? such value! (this is a joke. don't take me seriously)
all this for just 8 damage, its a bad joke
I disagree, 4 times the deathrattle effect without a single minion dead is no joke, it's genius , oh and no comments about it not bein available in standard anymore, we all know we'll just play to rank 20 and spam only the all cards wild mode anyway XD.
No, no, you're supposed to do this with sylvanas windrunner, not lepper gnome.
Always loved playing Feign Death hunter, so I can imagine I will love playing this in midrange clown car hunter in standard. As others have mentioned, curving summoner into this will feel amazing.
And it leaves the opponent with a difficult choice; kill the 1-1 and give you the 5-5 a turn earlier than you'd otherwise have it, or let you play princess.
Why it call Princess? It look like bug to me.... >_<
Such beauty. look at that face. much Kawaii.
How do you pronounce this thing's name?
My guess is Hu-Hu-Ran, Hu pronounced like Tutu, and Ran being pronounced sort of like 'ron'.
5 min of photoshop well spent
BOOOO, was really excited for this card. Was hoping for a "give the enemy hero taunt" like the tavern brawl, because it would've been a really cool mechanic and fits in perfectly with the lore of the card. Really?? Another crappy hunter legendary. It's a vastly worse version of Feign Death. All the really good deathrattles are in wild mode, and you'd never ever play this over Feign Death on top of hunter being a terrible class to build synergy decks with due to the complete lack of decent card draw and all your situational defensive cards. Plus the fact that this is a legendary, so you can only run 1. Activating a deathrattle is an effect that's already been done to death (no pun intended). Wish they added a brand new effect instead.
It's a well stated 5 drop with a strong battle cry, so it can be played on its own and provide decent tempo. It is far better than feign death because this card can be played on its own as an average 5 drop, yet also trigger a death rattle, most of which are very strong. Compare it to a card like Unearthed Raptor except it's even better because the effect is immediate.
it's an ok card. 9 times out of 10, it's just going to be a 6 5 because as an experienced hunter player that's tried every possible archetype of hunter, if you already have board control turn 5, with a midrangy minion slamming deck, you're probably going to win the game anyway, and there are no decent deathrattles that you could possibly have on the board turn 5 that would even justify putting this card in your deck. It's decent with Piloted Shredder but the chances of you having both the shredder and princess in your hand are very low, and the chances of the shredder half being untouched are even lower. I used to play the Feign Death deck a lot and the reason why it wasn't viable was because as hunter, you have 0 card draw and all of your removal is already situational, so you end up having all of these dead cards in your hand the whole game and there are no decent comeback mechanics with hunter because again, you have no card draw and no healing and crappy board clears, so you cannot afford to pass turns or you just get overrun. If you do gain comebacks as hunter, they always involve killing your opponent out of nowhere with like buffed versions of unleash the hounds and kill commands, and not from slamming down minions, which is what the deathrattle hunter archetype is designed around.
It's also just a boring effect in general, which is very disapointing for the first bee, insectoid card. And it's really really dumb how in this site if you ever have an unpopular opinion, you immediately get like 20 downvotes and hidden.
So how much experience do you have with the new cards and the new meta to come?
And btw, if you have an unpopular opinion, what do you expect? a bunch of upvotes?
Piloted shredder is out of standard
You know, aside from the "BOOOO" (which was immature and uncalled for), your comment really didn't deserve so many downvotes.
In my opinion Twilight Summoner is grossly underrated. Even outside of a deathrattle deck it is still good.
With this card its just insane.
People say its Ts is weak because its too slow, but I am guessing your opponent would rather activate it themselves than risk a combo.
It is a slow card, but generally it's kinda like an investment. If you're losing, it's definitely not gonna pull you out of it, but if you have the board properly maintained, it's gonna be great. It's a setup card, and it fits a few decks plus a few classes more than others.
