That would be ideal, especially if the new legendary's effect prompted a new playstyle for mage or took advantage of the inspire mechanic. But sadly we're stuck with an effect that (at this point) is too good to attach a playable body to it.
Yea I don't get that either. Varian Wyrnn seems too powerful atm for an already strong existing deck. Hopefully Druid and Shaman get good legends to counter Ctrl Warrior.
This card is bad. I was really hoping for secrets synergy, but this is just bad.
This card isn't bad. This card is useless crap of shiet.
I really like this card. Varian Wrynn is flashier and is definitely taking the spotlight right now, but this card is really great with Flamewaker, Malygos or Archmage Antonidas.
It is weak to silence, but if my opponent has to save their silence for this card, I've probably already lost.
This + BaronRivendare = Arcane Ballistic Barrage.
Slow card but lotsa synergy potential.

the newly revealed warrior leg is much much better.

Alone, this card is not good. But in a tempo mage deck, this card is AWESOME!

Ironbeak Owl says hi, but this looks like an awesome combo card, I like it and I don't Mage.
Seems like mages didnt ike this card so much, it brought both: more qq and more pew pew 4Head
I think people are underestimating this card...
The fact that its effect is a death rattle is a good thing. The DR makes it a trading machine, because you want it to die. Yes, it's rather expensive, but what you get for it dying is well worth it.
Not only can the missiles combo well with Archmage Antonidas, but they combo well with so many other minions as well: Flamewaker, Ancient Mage and Malygos (any minion that has/gives spell damage), Gadgetzan Auctioneer, and so many more.
Furthermore. Because of its DR effect, your opponents will have to spend more resources then normal on it if they want it gone, in most cases (Ironbeak Owl + Big Game Hunter). Yes, Shamans/other Mages will simply be able to Hex and Polymorph it, but that's still a good thing, because that means that they won't have those spells for your other big legendaries such as: Ragnaros the Firelord, Dr. Boom, and Ysera.
All-In-All. I like this! And - if I get it - I'll try it out.
I like it as well. Some people either aren't aware of the concepts of feints and decoys or they just don't consider that other players might use those tactics. Also, if you've got at least +1 spell damage, Archmage Antonidas, and Sorcerer's Apprentice on the board, plus some combination of either the coin or Thaurissan, fireball him yourself then drop all three missiles for free (with the apprentice).
i hoped this card have some use for the hero power
This card is like an expensive Dr. Boom with overload (because while the boom bots are free, we will have to pay the cost for the arcane missiles) the GVG and TGT expansions made shity legendaries for mages.
