Double Decker - March of the Lich King Multitype Wild Decks

Welcome back to another Double Decker article. We're already seeing the new class trying to find a spot in the meta, while other classes are adding their new toys to existing decks. Let's do the same thing, but with older archetypes. As with every new expansion, we dove into past decks and added some new cards, as well as combined archetypes to try making interesting new deck ideas.

These decks are mostly for fun, but they can work well if you’re dedicated to it. If you’re looking for a fun challenge for yourself, try out one of these decks!

Outcast Aggro Demon Hunter

The support for Outcast cards we recently got, combined with what we received back in the Darkmoon Faire, make a fairly coherent deck for those that want to be Outcast-centric. The Aggro cards that shuffle back cards from your hand are easy to recover with all the draw Outcast cards come with.

Sometimes you just cheat more than a Druid.

Undead Token Druid

Druid’s Undead cards were already built to be an aggro archetype. Let’s try using wild Token Druid cards to capitalize on their token aspect. You can even double down on Attack buffs from Savage Roar and Arbor Up if Elder Nadox kills something that already attacked.

Murloc Dragon Paladin

Remember back in Descent of Dragons when they randomly added a few cards that encouraged a Dragon x Murloc deck that was slightly hinted for Paladin? Now that Dragon Paladin is an above average contender in Standard, how about we add Scalelord, Tasty Flyfish and Skyfin to support those Dragons with the aggression of Murlocs.

Not even a Harkener of Dread Ancestral Spirit combo was prepared for one of the weirdest archetypes in the game.

Jade Deathrattle Rogue

Despite recent nerfs to Rogue’s degenerate Deathrattle package, it’s still fun to use it for propping up the weaker of the three Jade classes. Jade Swarmer becomes the mvp, with Aya Blackpaw being an additional Deathrattle to abuse the summoning of even more Jade Golems. If your Sketchy Information happens to draw Scourge Illusionist, you can potentially get an extra Swarmer as a free 4/4!

That’s not Ramp Druid. THIS is Ramp, Druid!

Undead Murloc Deathrattle Shaman

Shaman’s new affinity for giving Deathrattles to things makes swarming the board extra useful. Deathweaver Aura is good for filling the board and Shadow Suffusion makes those minions a little more potent. Murlocs have good ways to create sticky boards with the built in summoning Murmy and Spawnpool Forager have or the generated kind Soul of the Murloc provides. Both of these minion types can support this kind of game plan and a few of them also happen to be both too

“I have an hand of Discard effects.”                                                                                    “We have a Murloc Warleader.”

Vanndar Undead Warlock

Amorphous Slime and Infantry Reanimator give Warlocks a way to cheat out big Undead minions. While this was clearly intended for Dar'Khan Drathir, it just so happens that Colossus of the Moon is also a very big Undead worth cheating onto the board. Even though it already has Reborn, a 6-cost resurrection of it is still worth it given how annoying it is to get rid of.

Which is more surprising? The Colossus of the Moon as Warlock on turn 6, or someone running Dragon Soul in general?

We hope you like these ideas for updated decks and combination archetypes to try out in Wild. We plan to continue presenting ideas for these kinds of decks whenever new cards are released. If you ever want a break from using the same decks everyone else built, try to challenge yourself by merging archetypes and making a successful combination of cards that can rival the power of decks in the meta!
