Mistermath's Card Ratings for Voyage to the Sunken City:
8/10
To be clear, this card has very little place in the current standard metagame as of writing; it is only used in some fringe value rogue decks trying to get this to work with Smokescreen. Blood in the Water, and Azsharan Vessel. That said, that doesn't mean the card isn't inherently powerful, as any number of strong spells could break it - and in pretty much any other class, it would be broken. This also seriously limits design in standard for rogue in the next 2 years, as if even a single standalone high tempo expensive spell is released for rogue, you can bet this card will dominate the meta. Keep your eyes peeled, and hold on to your copies of this, as it's got a good chance of being the next Necrium Apothecary.
They keep printing out Zero cards.
They know exactly what they're doing.
what does rogue have to play to take advantage of this except smokescreen, which is a terrIble card? Nothing really. This is basically a guarantee that Rogue will not get any decent big spells for a year or two.
4 mana sprint plus a 2/2??
sure it sounds broken, for any class aside from rogue...not many big spells to play in standard and the recent 8 mana one is now barely playable thanks to this, but the deck would need to be filled with good death rattles and is going to be briking a lot.
so will it see play? probably yes. is it going to be op? not in standard, unless you find a reliable way to get other class big spell or new spell get released
For me, it'll be fun, not viable
Remember when Preparation was too strong and forced many high value rogue spells to be inefficient without preparation? Well look where we are now. Might as well unnerf preparation again
Just a rare? Whole deck archtypes are going to be based on this OPness
I suppose we know what card's getting nerfed first.
What the actual fuck. And this thing can be bounced...
they have no sense of what balanced and mana means
What are you doing, blizz-bro?1
They did it again... they will never learn... Smokescreen
Wild will break again
wild was always broken
I can always break a little more.
Any spell? What the hell this is broken.
Op as hell
