when I came back to hearthstone two months ago I saw this card and thought: hey this is actually very good.
today i found out it was even stronger. OMG....
Hey there's a new one lol.
This one's spell school isn't "Shadow" according to Hearthpwn. It's "GLOBAL SPELL SCHOOL SHADOW"
this card makes moarg artificier an auto included card . You will always want at least 1 moarg if not 2 in your control lock with all the good cheap removal you got + this one added, it will be good in any situation.
You can even target your own minions with this. Imagine healing 9 with the new 4-mana baker card and then spending 1 more mana to heal another 4. That's probably a bad idea, but 5 mana heal 13 isn't bad. And 1 mana deal 2 to a minion is just a decent effect on its own.
This is probably the best 1 Mana Anti-aggro card in the history of Hearthstone.
When considering a card like this for your deck, you have to think about whether you're OK with those times when you'll get the damage but not the heal. Against an opponent with few minions, no minions, or only large minions, you're going to have a hard time getting that heal.
So, if your deck likes cheap spells and removal and doesn't need a ton of healing, this is fine. For something like The Demon Seed, however, I don't think you want to take the chance on this being just an Arcane Shot that can't hit face. That Questline is going to require a lot of reliable, immediate healing -- in fact, Soul Fragments may even be too slow (not to mention, you don't want to add cards to your deck). It's going to use things like Flightmaster Dungar, Spice Bread Baker, and Blood Shard Bristleback to keep you alive through the 21 (actually 15) self-inflicted face damage.
Also huge thing in this questline archetype (maybe even the main win condition) will be the fatigue damage transferred to your opponent, so I don't really see space for unreliable and slow soul fragment package. I'd rather use Blood Shard Bristleback, Barrens Scavenger or even Neeru Fireblade.
Oh, yes, it's definitely a Deletelock archetype. Neeru for sure.
It might be, but I don't think it has to be literally Deletelock, time will tell.
I mean, if there will be enough healing to sustain more off-board burst damage and minions significant enough to force aggro to trade (instead of attacking your face all the time), you could just go with "small deck" package (Blood Shard Bristleback, Barrens Scavenger, Neeru Fireblade), but skip self-burning cards like Soul Rend or Altar of Fire to make entire deck more reliable, without a risk of discarding some key tools or win conditions.
Just play your control stuff and try not to die. Finish questline, empty your deck in the process and win by fatigue / Neeru / Jaraxxus / Tickatus. This approach doesn't work now, because there's not enough healing (soul fragments sucks!), but new expansion may give us what we need.
I agree that could work, but to be honest, I do not want to see that much reliable healing in Warlock.

This card is absolutely broken for 1-Mana. Wandmaker fetches this, plus Tamsin Roame can make multiple copies of this for an easy full heal.
idk if that combo would be very viable, we will have to wait and see
I don't think any Control Warlock will run Wandmaker as long as there are Altar of Fire, Wicked Whispers and Shadow Council in his pool of spells.
tamsin+moarg artificier + all the cheap removal = no play for opponents aggro Kappa
Drain soul + This can kill midrange threat while heal 7 for example.. the problem is Warlock has very good wincondition and reaching crittical mass of healing card. This card and the new 4 mana heal equal to hand size will make Warlock very hard to kill by arggo. Soon you will able to make a Warlock deck which every card can heal you (yes jax even heal you for 5 now lol)
Warlock have moments of pure dominance and moments of Tier trash, what makes the difference between the two conditions is the acess or not to good healing, this is not terrible but not amazing either, too many early minions with 3 health to be good.
