Most cards with outcast are balanced around as if they were battlecries that cost 1 more mana, similar to combo. Looking at this card, it exactly fits the bill. It's not easy to make this work as a combo enabler, as you have to both get it into an outcast position and then happen to have the cards you need to discount in the other two spots, and it's also not just a 0 mana 2/2 in aggro decks, as your hand will often be empty, and this is a really low tempo play the turn you run it out. However, with the right deckbuilding and tactical precision, it can see play despite it being balanced, which is exactly what I like out of a card.

Posted Mar 25, 2022 (Fractured in Alterac Valley)A very cool card , even tho Illidari Studies is rotating ... guess that was limiting their design in outcasts (We got 0 outcasts in Alterac , 2 in Barrens and 1 in Stormwind)
