Thank goodness both Baba Naga and Twinbow Terrorcoil cost 4 mana otherwise they would see play in Drek'thar Quest Hunter, yikes. Twinbow Terrorcoil looks like a interesting card regardless , Baba Naga we have seen better cards that kinda do the same aka Lifedrinker for example.
The naga tag is worth a lot and also the stats are pretty good
That's true, maybe I'm underestimating the Naga tag...
Oh boy, more mechs for both Mage *AND* Paladin! This comment section is going to get spicy, prepare for "but what about lOrE" posts.
We Paladins are used to it tbh, I kind of dig this new 2 mana mech (Seafloor Savior), it feels like a decent 2 drop to guarantee you playing around your next draw and buffing it. Imagine it buffing a Shimmering Sunfish into 4/7 with Divine Shield & Taunt.
Five colors of Piranha Swarmer? I smell achievement of having five of them at board ;)
Ooh, I bet that smells fishy.
16 Arena Cards Reveal Stream
Are these Arena only cards? Or actual cards?
They are part of the expansion so can be used everywhere in constructed or drafted in Arena. I've fixed that title so it's more clear.
Oh good, sorry.
Flipper Friends has to be a card with the most cards powercrept by it, since (if we ignore class restrictions and tribes) it powercreeps at least: Booty Bay Bodyguard, Command the Illidari, Fen Creeper, Pit Fighter, Stand Against Darkness and Lord of the Arena
It doesn't mean the card is busted, it's just funny to see how far the overall power of cards gone since the old days.
SaD is played because they are dudes for dude paladin. You never use them for the "stats" and the rest where more or less never played. Its good that they put out cards that you might include instead of outright ignore.
The original title of this post was "16 arena cards" and for arena you obviously look for stats, and all these cards, excluding Booty Bay Bodyguard were played in arena and were even really good.
Stand against darkness sucks ass in dude paladin (at least in wild, I have no idea about anything standard), it's too slow, you usually go for odd version of the dude paladin anyway, because the hero power is really good, so that point doesn't stand.
This whole post wasn't meant to be taken seriously, it was just a food for thought how bad cards were before.
I know what I'll be playing on day 1
Switcheroo with Stonetusk Boar + The Darkness
yeah, with one of the 3 mana copy spells, it's a 40 damage combo on turn 4 (not sure if that actually works), pretty insane!
What three mana copy spell are you talking about? Closest thing I can think of is a Turn 6 Stonetusk Boar and Faceless Manipulator.
Vivid Nightmare is the obvious choice, but you can also use Psyche Split as a redundancy.
Indeed, Vivid Nightmare is the real winner here.
Thanks. Forgot about Vivid Nightmare.
I am praying that rogue's theme this expansion will be almost anything except "pirate"
