Mistermath's Card Ratings for Voyage to the Sunken City:
5/10
I think this is the weaker half of the Seafloor Savior + Azsharan Mooncatcher synergy. A 2 mana 2/2 just really fails at contesting the board, and the buff manages to be even slower than a handbuff. Thankfully, this card's synergies make it playable despite being mediocre, as the Sunken Mooncatcher is an insane card to buff with this, and the mech tag and specific wording on its text also allow this to buff itself if it dredges up the 2nd copy.
Guys this card is so damm strong. 2 MANA 2 2 DRAW A MINION AND GIVE IT AT LEAST +2+2.
Its at least 4/5 mana worth it.
It’s not “draw a minion” it just draws a card and buffs it if it happens to be a minion. So compared to alliance bannerman which always draws a minion and buffs your whole hand, this card is questionable.
You look at 3 cards, in a handbuff deck whats the odd of finding 3 spells out of maybe 4/6 spells that you play in the whole deck. Also with dredge you actually chose that is bettee then drawing a minion.
This is great as its a cycle trough deck card plus makes you gain value and tempo as it is a 2 mana 4/4 stats at least.
Actually you are both wrong. Since Dredge doesn't draw, it just puts a card on the top of your deck.
Wow this change all Ahahaha.. Damn this card suck
For Handbuff but without its mostly trash. Would not play it in any of my decks when you think about how strong "put at the bottom of your deck" cards are.
This is such a weird card. It's clearly meant to be used with handbuff which has fallen out of favor since the repeated nerfs to it. But if used without handbuff it actually cripples the card it effects, and this card is cheap, but you won't ever be playing it on turn 2 for that reason.
Does anyone know how this works? does it mean that you will give that minion +2/2? I assume it would say swap stats if that's what was going to happen. Interesting for handbuff though, you could end up giving something +7/7 or something like that.
Yeah I think this is for handbuff. I'll give the minion +2/+2 but can scale if you buffed it in your hand
