Mistermath's Card Ratings for Voyage to the Sunken City:
6/10
Hoo boy, bundling. A 1/2 taunt is Goldshire Footman, a 2/4 taunt is Squirming Tentacle, and a 4/8 taunt is close enough to Violet Warden. Adding it all up, you get 10 mana added to the + two card bundling bonus, which is 12 mana in total. To be fair, though, all three of the cards listed are underpowered cards that never saw play. Even so, you're still getting solid value from this - at the lowest estimate, maybe 9 mana worth of taunt. If a more value or spell based control paladin deck starts to rise, you'll definitely see this card as a stable part of the holy package.
I can't tell if this will see a lot of play. Seems a bit expensive for a late game card that doesn't help end the game, but will be great if it gets discounted or played for free. Cool card.
Compare with Best in Shell or even the old favorite Spreading Plague.
You only get 14 health of taunt for 7 mana, which isn't as favorable as comparable cards. Will the holy spell synergy with the other cards be enough to make it playable?
I like this card a lot, but it is quite strange. I can't project if this is going to be good or not, I feel like I'll have to see it in use. I like how versatile it is though. Seems like it would synergize with Dun Baldar Bridge well amongst other things. This one gets my wheels turning. Excited for my paladin decks this set.
