Madness at the Darkmoon Faire Meta Decks - Pros Edition
There is more to the Meta game then the 3 classes and their decks we are about to feature, but they are the vast majority. There's a good chance that Blizzard will announce card changes soon, probably after World Championship has been held later this week, so enjoy these decks while they are hot!

My thoughts on DH Hero Power: Make it like warlock, and be like... 1 mana, deal 1 damage to your hero, gain 1 attack, call it Immolation Aura or something. Or to balance with other classes at 2 mana, 2 mana, deal 2 damage to your hero, gain 2 attack. It would at least make it worth NOT using from time to time.
instead of 1 attack, if it does damage to you then it should be 2 attack. So 1 mana, deal 1 damage to you, gain 2 attack. Then it's balanced.
Anything that drowns evolve shaman in its own blood deserves a small break before getting nerfed alongside evolve shaman.

DH will never be balanced right until they make his hero power 2 mana like every other class.. why do they get the exception? lmao i love trolls that go out of their way to dv me. lmao must be simp dhs
Because at 2 Mana it would be a worse Druid and Rogue hero power. They'd need to make it something else to make it 2 Mana, which I absolutely think they should do.
Illidan has always been all offense, no defense. Even in Heroes of the Storm he has high damage output but will die fast if he sticks around too long.
The hero power reflects that.
Druid at 2 mana: 1 damage, 1 armor. Downside: You take face damage when attacking
Rogue at 2 mana: 1 damage, but with 2 charges, and it is a weapon Downside: You take face damage when attacking
Demon Hunter at 1 mana: 1 damage, but no charges, Downside: You take face damage when attacking
Demon Hunter at 2 mana: 1 damage, but no charges Downside: You take face damage when attacking
You see how that would make it absolute and utter trash to comparable class abilities? It'd need another modifier to be on par with them.

Given how overtuned DH's cards are, it could stand to have a bad HP... But if it is to be kept at 1 mana, make it deal 1 damage to himself. Because right now, DH can just mindlessly hit the button every turn, which is the exact gameplay issue that sent Baku and Genn to the HOF after 1 year.
That said, I'm most in favor of DH just getting sent to Wild, if not eliminated altogether, and offering full dust refunds on DH cards, but that will never happen.
Said while Blade Dance isn't even in either of the DH decks shown.
I stand with my point. The reason DH can flourish so hard has 2 reasons.
1. Tickatus. It forces people in playing aggro, because it Burns key cards in for example Highlander decks.
2. Blade Dance. Aggro is not the problem, but. DH should be having a hard time clearing a 6/6 taunt for example. If you play 3 taunts in 1 turn single 2 mana card can clear it. That is Just wrong.
Even though I like Tickatus I agree that it really limits your ability to play decks which try to go for longer games.
But still: DH is just badshit crazy. Its ability to draw, clear boards and deal insane amounts of damage, often in a single turn is unparalled in HS.
Blizz wanted to make DH viable class but forgot that a class shouldn't have every single quirk in one class.
Board clear, self heal, high face damage, utility like taunts/rush, card draw/tempo, discount type cards and a lot of synergy with neural cards.
DH is everything wrong with this game
Hope DH gets nerfed into oblivion, cuz that class is a fucking joke
