I'm dying to know what ???? Shaman was. It sounds like the most intriguing of all of these decks. (That said, my only Wild deck is a Reno/N'Zoth Paladin deck in which I run Feugen and Stalagg and no shredders. It's a really super slow deck that runs Enter the Coliseum and Lay on Hands, and ultimately isn't the best but it's a way to get away from my only Standard deck, Dragon Priest.)
And exactly this is not true. For example: Dr. Boom and N'zoth is quite anti-synergistic. Piloted Shredder is sticky, but in this meta not really a good card, Sludge Belcher... ok he's always good, but that's only because blizzard is LAZY creating good taunt minions, because they seem to fear that games could take longer than 6-7 rounds. Heck, tell me ONE good taunt-minion after him... there isn't.
Well, I'd guess Gentle Megasaur could be the Mysterious Challenger of this expansion, depends on a) if he buffs ALL murlocs, b) if there will come some counters (maybe additional AoE's?) and c) if it is possible to hold your murlocs on the board to take profit from it. Mysterious Challenger was so strong because Paladin had access to many other powerful class cards (Avenge, Shielded Minibot, Muster for Battle...), as well as really good neutral cards which rotated (Piloted Shredder, Loatheb, Dr. Boom...). So we'll have to see which classes are able to use Gentle Megasaur best and if they will become Tier 1 (or maybe Tier 0, kappa) decks.
Also I think Awaken the Makers could be a bit overhyped, at least for standard mode players. Why? Because N'Zoth, the Corruptor and Resurrect move to wild. Deathrattle Priest will have a great time in Wild (Majordomo Executos - 40 Life Ragnaros FTW! kappa) with Zombie Chow or Dark Cultist, but if Blizz doesn't release some more good deathrattles it will become just a meme deck in standard.
But hey, we've just seen 5 new cards, let's wait a bit till we've seen at least half of the cards :)
N'zoth stays in standard for another year. Everything released in 2016 stays until the 2018 expansion.

The game still counts your wins, it's just not displayed, so I'd be very surprised if it just started counting again at 500.

No, they aren't secrets, they just take up a secret spot.

Wait, so if we took a duel, and both played Babbling Book on turn 8, who'd get the Flamestrike?

Well, color me convinced.

But still only if the enemy plays it?

Only if the enemy plays it?

Why's your fun more valid than theirs?
