It wasn't inspired by this card though actually, I saw the legendaries and scanned through the classes for the best battlecry minions and saw things like mistcaller tuskar and argus.
You should definitely fit in Nerubian Egg in this deck.
u are forgetting that they want hs to be good for beginner and those ppl playing it for very long.
a very wide spectrum of gamers.
so bbb is a basic card and available for all new comer to use. so when new comer open a pack and get evil heckler, they will be happy and it can be used by the new comer straight away. it also in some ways teaches the "value" of a card.
No, Evil Heckler is bad for new players! Not if they get him, then they are happy for sure. But if they don't get him... Ofc it is only this one card at the moment and it doesn't make a difference by now. BUT if we reach a state where every single basic card has been power creeped (4/5 tazdingo, 4/6 yeti, 5/3 truesilver etc.) then new players are fucked. They can never win against those better cards. And if they can't win, they will NEVER get gold to get those cards (All of hearthstones gold gain mechanics are focused around wining. And you can't even gain gold or complete quests against AI which is dumb.). So they either have to pay money to get packs or they can not play this game.
This leads to new players not trying the game and so in a slowly dying game. THAT's why power creep sucks so much.
The ELO system ensures that every player rises to the level at which they win 50% of the time. New players will just stay at the low levels with other new players until they get enough gold to get enough cards to build better decks.
Power creeping playable cards is bad. Power creeping cards that are NEVER played is nearly the same thing as buffing those unplayed cards.
Cute little fun card. I wish it was available to Shaman. (Or just Neutral) But at least there's a chance to get one from Neptulon.
Never really realized how well-suited Paladin is for a Murloc deck. Especially with Divine Favor.
He's not...
While new cards are being revealed this whole expansion appeals me less and less... Pal's biggest nemesis - priest - got fantastic cards while Pal got shit tbh Eadric the Pure is semi-good but is nothing compared to let's say Aviana, Confessor Paletress, The Mistcaller or Wilfred Fizzlebang... I have a feeling that the game after TGT will be even more luck- and draw-based and the differences between classes that are already strong and classes that are already weak will be even greater (perhaps apart from Shaman and Priest which both got superb cards). Sadly as usual Pal and Rogue got shit and Warrior, Maga and Warlock got great cards... as usual :/
Have you forgotten muster + quartermaster so quickly?
Everyone spouts out the word power creep like it's the most terrible horrible thing in the world. Of course, slowly increasing the average power of cards with each new expansion is bad and unsustainable, but power creeping over the WORST card in the game is totally fine to me (if they decide to never buff cards). I mean, they thought a 5/1 was worth 3 mana when it's barely worth 2 mana. So now they realize that a 5/2 is worth around 3 mana and made this card instead. I don't see why everyone is so upset with it.
I mean, I don't really know why Blizzard has decided to basically never buff old unused cards, but this is basically identical to buffing BBB and Magma Rager. They're common cards so will be nearly free.
If there was a spell that said "(0) draw a card" then almost every deck would play it. Having a smaller deck is really good for most decks as it makes them more consistent.
What they could do is have a "quick animation mode" that only activates when the rope is burning. That or allow the user to select an option to not show animations.
I think a lot of Shaman decks have enough taunts with the feral spirits, also, most want to play fire elementals on turn 6, so choose to overload themselves on turn 4. Which means they would miss the turn 5 belcher drop. Not sure though, might work out ok with belchers.
I used to love this guy, but when my opponent got one out of a piloted shredder in a topdecking scenario and it was literally the only two drop that would win him the game... I kinda hate Whirling Zap-o-matic now.

You get a classic pack: https://twitter.com/CM_Zeriyah
Blizzard really is not doing the best job at this...
