So basically I want to do a card prediction for LOE what do you guys think will see play?
I will list those I think will see constructed play :
Mounted Raptor it's like a piloted shredder aggro druid currently uses shade.. and shade is a bit slow.. this minion is really sticky.
Might be alright, but the good thing about shade is saving it for combo.
Yes, but this allows you to make do more damage in the early game. It's at least worth trying, especially because it trades up into Piloted Shredder.
Raven Idol I think this card is quite good you pay one mana to choose a card depending on situation you get to choose between 3 minions or 3 class spells.. can draw you that 3rd swipe you need.
This card is useless. If you want a minion/spell, you can put it in the slot spent on this card instead. Counting on it to draw a 3rd swipe is highly unlikely.
The advantage of this card is versatility. Zombie Chow is useless turn 10, this card isn't. Cenarius is useless on turn 1, this card isn't.
Dart Trap this card seems crazy specially when it goes face when playing face hunter.
Random, could hit minions instead and waste a card
It's only bad against Shaman and Paladin, against everything else it's likely to kill something valuable.
Keeper of Uldaman it's very versible card it can also buff your tokens.
Defender of argus is better for tokens
If you use it on a Silver Hand Recruit, this gives the same stat buff as argus on 2 recruits. It also has +1/+1 and works well in the lategame. Definitely worth trying out.
Priest already got enough anti aggro, this card wont help it
Entomb another card for "actually playing enemy deck"
Too slow though, like recycle.
But, unlike Recycle, it can win you control games.
Sir Finley Mrrgglton on decks that rarely synergies with their hero power - control hunter, control shaman, aggro shaman, aggro warrior, also might see play in murloc decks.. but I don't say they will happen in my prediction.
Most decks are built around hero powers, so a switch is generally bad. As a legendary, you cant depend on drawing it enough to make a deck depending on it viable.
If murloc shaman is a thing, this will be in it. Getting the Warlock hero power or the Hunter hero power would be incredibly strong.
Naga Sea Witch this card has serious potential to ramp stuff.
Am I missing something. People in this thread are saying this card is like Unstable Portal, but there's no cost reduction so you're just trading 1 spot in your deck for a random card, which will probably be worse, and paying 1-mana. Why is that so good?
It is a random minion, though only from Neutral and Druid, so not totally random. You get more options instead of being forced into 1, which means you're trading a bit of mana for a minion choice from a slightly smaller pool. Also however this can get you a spell if you so choose, adding versatility and thus also making the cost reduction less important IMO.
Why not just include a minion/spell that would always be useful instead of relying on RNG to get you a potentially useful card?
Because this can serve multiple purposes. If I put Zombie Chow in my deck, he's only good on turn 1. But Raven Idol can be used (albeit inefficiently) to play Zombie Chow early on, or Chillwind Yeti for the midgame, or Gruul in the lategame.
Not necessarily actually. You see you can draw the first map and get a monkey, but the second map/monkey is still in the deck. So you could have 2 golden monkeys.
so the dream would be... Brann Bronzebeard turn 3 into Elise Starseeker turn 4 for a chance for 2 golden monkeys... then again 2/4 for 3 isn't the best and a chillwind yeti is better stat wise
That wouldn't work, the first Golden Monkey would change the second map or monkey into a random legendary.
This guy is interesting, but I honestly couldn't tell ya what battlecry minions I'd want to play with this card. BGH + boombot snipe is cool I guess or maybe some tempo with a healbot.
seems completely balanced (3 mana - 3 mana value) but thats the problem, other deathrattle cards that see play have 1 extra mana value attached to them like eg spiders and shredder. eg golem is phased out for "only" offering 3 mana value on a 3 mana body.
If there's one thing I've learned from Hungry Dragon, it's that there are a lot of great 1-drops.
so conditional zombie chow, not that great, but good for you thinking it will change shamans .
It doesn't need the extra damage to kill Leper Gnomes and the like. And it's also a lot better against control, so I could easily see it being a 2-of in shaman. This card alone won't make shaman viable, but it certainly isn't awful.
Another card that isn't lore-friendly to the universe the card game is based on. Also, since when is a hat considered a spell? I don't understand their logic on this. Also way too slow to see play in a class like Hunter. Seems slightly gimmicky.
You're right, there aren't any hats in Warcraft which give stats. That would be silly.
To be honest, this is to slow to see play in any class except, maybe, Priest.

Murloc Warleader only gives +2/+1, which is lost once he dies. This is a permanent buff, which is better for trading than pure damage.

So, an inverse Anima Golem. Could be strong in control decks, but It's bad against Big Game Hunter.

Flare and Eaglehorn Bow were both nerfed around GvG. They have also nerfed Leeroy Jenkins and Gadgetzan Auctioneer postrelease, along with a dozen other nerfs during beta.

If those are your options, keeping Anub'arak would have been a better choice.
Anyways, I definitely prefer Foe Reaper 4000. There's something so satisfying about killing 3 minions with one swing.
