It's now so obvious how incompetent and ridiculous the team behind Hearthstone is. They don't nerf cards, they butcher them to oblivion to never see play again.
Dozens of suggestions from the community to solve the Grim Patron problem were told which weren't overkill. But no, now we have a class card that's worse than a neutral.
They're completely lazy regarding updates, bug fixes, community feedback and general communication about balance. Go look at HotS patch notes and be surprised.
They took 6 months to acknowledge and solve a problem with a radical solution; the same amount of time it took Undertaker to get the same treatment. Those $$$ bills must be really precious.
In the end I'll probably continue to log in and do my daily but I refuse to hand any money to a company that doesn't have a fucking clue of what they're doing and that clearly don't care about the game.
Blizz designed themselves into a corner with cards like Gadgetzan Auctioneer, Starving Buzzard and Warsong Commander. These cards would've gotten more and more absurd as they released content, unless they designed everything with these cards in mind. So they elect to destroy the problem cards rather than continue to hamstring their design.
This is the best choice for the long-term health of the game, though they could have made the cards a little better (Warsong Commander should at least be a 3/3). While there were some good ideas for Warsong nerfs, nobody knows what Blizz will release 3-4 expansions from now. This was the easiest way to guarantee that none of the new cards would be abusable with her.
Blizz really likes the meta. They've had this whole "meta solves everything" approach to HS balance since release, so don't expect any quick nerfs. While there's the obvious downside of 6 months of patron, we've also had decks like Mech Mage, which basically just died out without any nerfs.
To be fair, Hemet Nesingwary was obviously designed for a meta filled with Beast Druid/Control Hunter and would be great in that meta. Just because that isn't the case right now doesn't mean it won't ever happen.
Playing shaman in casual, go against another shaman. I play Fireguard Destroyer, get a 6/6, and start praising RNGsus. Then he Crackles it for 6. Next turn, my Lightning Storm rolls 2 on all 3 of his minions. Finally, he plays a Fireguard Destroyer and gets a 7/6. All of this took place in 2 turns, and I conceded before any more bullshit could happen.
Malorne is worse if you want to play him twice in a row, but don't draw him again. He's also worse against hard removal, because he doesn't give you a Nerubian. So, if you're in a control mirror, Anub'arak is much better.
But control rogue still isn't viable, so this card is trash.
Why would you use this card rather than some of the neutral heavy hitters like Ysera, Alexstrasza or Rag? Even Sneeds would get more done than this guy.
The only reason I can think of is... "he is a class legendary, so lets force him to fit in some deck..."
Theoretically, if your opponent has hard removal but no silence, and the game drags on long enough, Anub'arak is much stronger than any of those cards.
I could see it in a VERY slow control rogue, but that would require a lot more sustain than rogue currently has.
Grinded 100 Gold just to get a shitty pack again -.- Could Hearthstone be atleast a little bit rewarding ?!
If you're really fed up with the rewards (and you have this much free time), just play arena. After a few runs, it becomes much more rewarding than constructed.
I know arena is more rewarding in the long term and it can be a lot more fun but I'm just not very good at it ^^ Even if I use sites like Heartharena I barely get past 6 wins. (I'll try to get better)
I'd recommend watching Trump, he's really good at showing his thought process while playing and drafting.

Here, have a relevant article. As for making your win streaks more consistent, the only way to do that is to get a better deck.

If only this were true.

This doesn't really make sense 2 days into the season.

Confessor Paletress > Nexus-Champion Saraad > Al'Akir the Windlord > Rhonin > Gormok the Impaler

Lord Jaraxxus is a must if you already have Mal'Ganis. He's just too good in Handlock and demon decks.

The only legendary I ever dusted was King Krush, and I don't regret it because he's just a bigger Stonetusk Boar.

Too bad my Nerub'ar Weblord makes them worthless.

But can you name any 3 card combos that are more fun than a board full of Leper Gnomes?
