    What will help the cards see play is the year of the mammoth expansions are rotating out and both genn and baku are being banished to the hall of fame. Some of the cards from the year of the raven expansions that were previously considered too weak to play in constructed may also now get a chance to shine. It is also going to feel very refreshing that we are going to have a meta with no frozen thrones deathknights or odd and even decks.

    We are only going to have 4 expansions plus the basic and classic set to make decks from so its going to be very interesting how the meta looks. The last time we had such a limited pool of expansions in standard was during journey to ungoro and that meta was probably one of the best.

    There are both standard elitists and wild elitists who say that there respective metas are superior to the other. Nothing new. It doesn't matter what meta you play, as long as you are having fun then enjoy yourself. Everybody has preferences, some people even play both.

    Cool card. But damn twitch chat was a cancerfest. At least this synergizes with Khadgar so if you use it on your own minions you could end up summoning four minions for the price of destroying one. You could also use it to destroy your opponent's minions, it is risky but could be a last resort against a buffed up minion.

    I don't mind any playstyle as long as it does not turn unhealthy. Aggro can become unhealthy when it becomes too fast and can threaten lethal on turns 3 or 4 such as old pirate warrior. OTK becomes unhealthy when it becomes too consistent. All playstyles are important to the meta as long as they do not become too powerful.

    It costs 8 but it actually does something when it comes out which is the beauty of rush minions, slow as in cost, not once you get it out on the field. It has the same ability as Giant Sand Worm, but that card was too slow because you could not attack with it straight away, this can. Also Akali, the Rhino would love to draw this card and that high health may interest priests.

    Will this card see constructed play, it might because of rush, just look at Amani War Bear. Rush is such a good ability. Never underestimate any card with rush because a minion being able to attack on the turn that it is summoned is just so good. Makes me realize how broken charge is.

    I am sorry that you feel that way OP, but so far I actually love the cards in this expansion. I find that a lot of the cards are decent and I cannot wait to try them out. I have been impressed so far.

    I know its being compared to Dirty Rat and Deathlord and whether it is better or worse than those cards is up for debate.

    But here is the thing, THIS IS IN STANDARD while the other two are not. And combo disruption cards have been underestimated by the community when they have been revealed in the past but ended up being invaluable when fighting against combo decks. And if combo decks in standard start being a problem (looking at Jepetto Joybuzz), at least control decks actually have an option now instead literally just waiting to die.

    Love it. We got a new neutral combo disruptor and will most likely pull out  late game minions. Deathlord is cheaper, but this does not have to worry about getting silenced and it is an immediate effect because it is a battlecry.

    At least it is neutral so if combo decks start becoming prevalent, every class will have a chance to fight it and not just warlock. I think we always need to have at least one neutral combo disruptor in standard to keep combo decks in check.

    Looking at Sludge Slurper that could really snowball out of control especially if you get the lackey which summons a random 2 drop. We have had cards like pre nerf UndertakerTunnel Trogg, pre nerf Small-Time Buccaneer, pre nerf Mana Wyrm, pre nerf Patches the Pirate as well as Fire Fly, low cost cards that can either generate cards in your hand or can snowball out of control are always going to make a big impact in hearthstone. It Is not like Magic: The Gathering where you need to play lands in order to summon creatures, which is why 1 drops are much more powerful in Hearthstone.

    Imagine getting the lackey that summons a 2 drop, then playing that lackey ends up summoning Millhouse Manastorm. The salt will be real. Still a very decent card but its another 1 drop that could potentially snowball.

    You have got to be so careful when it comes to printing cards that can be used as part of a combo because playtesting is one thing, but the community can always find a way to break a card. It can be pretty useless if you already draw your combo pieces, but if you draw it before than it can actually speed up getting your OTK off. However it can backfire pretty badly if it ends up drawing cards which are not combo pieces so you have to keep in mind what is left in your deck.

    Ah ok so this card is part of the hench clan along with the hench clan burglar and Hench-Clan Thug. Thinking more about this card, this can be useful because it can remove a small minion and leave behind a 1/1 body and the fact that it is a beast may interest hunters. Yeah I like this little guy.
