No,this card makes you build your deck around it (no minions), so it's super-creative.

Synthetikmisery posted a message on Patch 14.6 Now Live! Card Art Updates, Dalaran Heist & MorePosted in: NewsMust not be dead or otherwise you wouldn't be here to troll. Interesting what hobbies people take up to pass their time. You don't like a game but spend time on a website about that game to speak badly about it to get attention. I think your time could be used far better than this hobby of trolling that you now have. Let us know if you ever have anything positive to say or worthwhile to say to get that attention you seek.

SlydE posted a message on Are the bomb cards as bad as people are claiming?Posted in: General DiscussionQuote from Toplobster >>I played 10 matches with a tempo bomb deck in wild at rank 5, won only 2. Ive beaten every bomb warrior I have faced so far, with a variety of decks. Its very bad
Wild rank 5? The difference in powerlevel to standard is huge atm! Wild decks are way more explosive and have much better agressive and defensive tools....

The thing is that both mech, rush and control warriors are fine decks on their own, so the Bombs are just the cherries on top with a super strong 7-drop with insane synergy with the Herocard.
I am 100% sure it will be a tier 1 deck even when more decks are refined and the meta is setteled.

NightCrawl3r posted a message on Are the bomb cards as bad as people are claiming?Posted in: General DiscussionI think it's not that hard to evaluate. Just compare bomb warrior to the old C'thun decks. You're playing good-in-arena cards to enable a broken card
- The enablers are only slightly worse on average - C'thun cards are generally stats = mana * 2 + 1. Bomb cards are stats = mana * 2. The 3/3 is arguably equal to a C'thun card because of the deck's great mech synergy
- The enablers do stuff independent of the finisher - bombs do damage on their own, especially to decks that draw quickly. Giving your C'thun stats does nothing until you play C'thun
- You need less enablers - 1 bomb makes new Boom equal the old Boom. That's already great, especially when the boom hero card is in rotation. 2 bombs is bonkers and 3 is max value. This means you need to run less bomb cards to make Boom good than C'thun cards to make C'thun good
- Your finisher scales faster - 1 bomb is equal to +2/+2 in stats and avg 2(2.5)=5 damage. 1 C'thun proc is on average +2/+2 and 2 damage
- Boom bots are much harder to clear than the C'thun body
- Boom comes down 3 turns earlier than C'thun - this enables aggressive builds
- You can run 2 elephants, but only 1 Brann
People who claim the deck is not good do so because they're playing decks that counter it. That's fine. Every deck has bad matchups, even tier 1 decks and decks that are not healthy for a meta. In fact, decks are considered not healthy when the entire meta warps around it, which is literally what's happening right now

fabjx posted a message on So which decks counters bomb warrior?Posted in: Standard FormatNo control shaman does not counter warrior. Yes it can survive longer but it cannot stand a chance in the long run. Also warrior has insane removal potential, which sucks for a deck that counts on big minions

Nature of Hearthpwn, I guess...Thanks for the deck - I've had a lot of matchups vs Bomb Warrior lately. It's an incredibly irritating deck to play against, so I might give this a go....

To tell you that your thread is pointless. Why are you getting upset over someone playing loot hoarder in their deck. You are being salty over nothing.

What even is the point of this thread?

Mine is that the meta is going to be more midrange/ control. With cards like Tar Creeper, Stonehill Defender, Dire Mole, Fungalmancer, Prince Keleseth and Fire Fly rotating out plus the odd and even decks and all of the frozen thrones deathknights, standard is going to feel so different.
The year of the mammoth expansions have dominated standard for so long. Now they are going away, hopefully the year of the raven expansions finally get there chance to shine.

Ah is this a storyline card? Does this imply that the League of E.V.I.L are winning?

Its an actual playable rager. YES PEOPLE WE HAVE FINALLY GOT ONE!!!

Compare this to Gormok the Impaler. Costs 1 more but much easier requirement to activate the battlecry, and it is not a legendary.

There are both standard elitists and wild elitists who say that there respective metas are superior to the other. Nothing new. It doesn't matter what meta you play, as long as you are having fun then enjoy yourself. Everybody has preferences, some people even play both.

It costs 8 but it actually does something when it comes out which is the beauty of rush minions, slow as in cost, not once you get it out on the field. It has the same ability as Giant Sand Worm, but that card was too slow because you could not attack with it straight away, this can. Also Akali, the Rhino would love to draw this card and that high health may interest priests.
Will this card see constructed play, it might because of rush, just look at Amani War Bear. Rush is such a good ability. Never underestimate any card with rush because a minion being able to attack on the turn that it is summoned is just so good. Makes me realize how broken charge is.

Cathedral Gargoyle can now be a powerful turn 2 play for paladins if they get enough dragon support. Dude if paladin gets more dragon support cards in this expansion then dragon paladin may actually become a thing. Can't wait to see what the other paladin cards have got to offer.

They are finally trying to make dragon paladin a thing. In blackrock mountain we got a paladin dragon called Dragon Consort and even though it had a strong effect, paladin did not get any dragon support. Hopefully this time the devs gives dragon paladin the proper support for it to be a competitive deck.
