This KickMachine5 really sums it up how it is for most people, nicely done. I want to add the people who say it's easy, probably have already spent a lot of time playing card games before. Of course some people make easy legend from start but they are a tiny but loud and proud minorty. Don't let yourself get distracted from them.
How I think it's the easiest reaching legend:
- Play wild. If that counts as legend for you, I think it's easier. But I have to admit for most people wild doesn't count. Also its much easier to get to high legend ranks in wild compared to standard.
- Go for the final push not before the last couple of days in the month. Last day especially will feel much easier because everybody already climbed up, and with them did the skill level. This is by far the most important thing to do.
- As soon as you get to rank 3-2 or 1, you will notice an increase of difficulty. There will be almost no meme decks left and just highly competitive tier lists. But if you have a winrate of over 55% rom rank 5 to rank 3, you should feel confident to be having the ability to hit legend. Even at rank 1, play as you would play at rank 5 but take your time. Rank 1 personally usually feels the easiest, because most people there get nervous and misplay the most! Also don't worry if you have to play against a legend player at rank 1. If he is rank 17844 he will probably just play some meme deck and is the way easier opponent then the tryhard rank 1 roping and bm guy.
-Play a top tier deck. Tier one if possible, but if its your playstyle a tier 2 deck is also fine, depending on the meta. Stick to the deck as soon as you have a decent winrate. If your winrate is bad over a period of let's say at least 15-20 games, you should switch. Take a deck with a low skillcap. Those are mostly aggro or zoo decks, because of they're straight forward gameplan. Its also better because faster to climb. If you don't respect them play some control deck and if you like to suffer try some combo decks. You will find such decks here at hearthpwn. But sites like viciussyndicate, metastats or hsreplay will tell you much more about the tier.
-I read many times people saying: "You should watch a pro playing." I slightly disagree with that, it's just as time consuming as playing yourself. Do your own mistakes and learn from it. Also watching your own replays I think is overrated, if you are not trying to dive into like really high legend ranks and are already a very experienced player. Better probably is letting a friend spectate you and he will tell you what he would have done differently.
I think you can fit in a deathstalker rexxar, because it is a very good card in every hunter deck
Thanks for the suggestion. I think 2 dmg hero power is synergy with the bombs but I will think about it. For the moment I don't want it to be even slower.
Yeah but just think about the regular new threads opened about how much people hate aggro. I can't stand them anymore either! Maybe some people start to realise some day its just how it is intended to be.
It really triggers me all this naive nonsense talking about how bad aggro is for the game. Bullshit, I play a lot of trading card games and the games are all including aggro. Ah this is not only about aggro but control and whatever aswell, if you dont like it just don play card games thank you ;)
Better wait. Flobbidinous Floop and Biology Project sure look like they will be played in a ramp/otk/combo styled druid. Especially the flobbidinous Floop could be used to replace twig because it sets up combos for example with malygos. Also in contrary to twig it cant just be teched against with oozes.
Also I meet a lot of different matchups, so it meaning we finally have a diverse meta which is good. Also out of hundreds of thousands of players just somebody will go 0-15. It will happen even to pros at some point because of bad luck.
I disagree. Doomsayer is great. For example f your Loot Hoarders die you get cards and it helps to stall the game. If you play against aggro they need to clear him and against control it doesnt matter anyway and is just great to filter your deck.
As mentioned before: How is that insane topdeck if he has five cards left only. Also freeze mage used to be in favour in this matchup and i assume it still is

I hope I could help

I really like the insertion of Abomination. I may take out one of my Defender of Argus for it, or maybe a Void Ripper.
I've also made a deck of my own yesterday and it seems in comparison to other bomb decks its quite similar but it's a little cheaper in dust.

This is not a generic salty post (OK, maybe a little), but Id like to know why YOU play and prefer hybrid decks?
I never know what to do against it because I don't know what im facing… What is so interesting about it?
I just hate it...

I've built an aggro version of this deck, please tell me what you think of it thanks https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1149818-mech-zoo-hunter-with-guide

I've thought about the Odd version myself but I think the two drops like firework tech and Venomizer are just too strong to not use them. Please have a look at my version and tell me what you think of it https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1149818-mech-zoo-hunter-with-guide

But the divine shields also draws you cards, which helps you to get to your core cards. The decks design is absolutely genius, thanks for the post.
