Generally, if one needs to be rewarded to play a game, there's something wrong on a more fundamental level.^^

In my opinion, the golden hero is just to signal other players that a person likes to play class X a lot and nothing more. If someone wants to grind for golden heroes for ... whatever reason - fair enough, but additional rewards don't make sense to me in any way, shape or form.

(Trivia: I've been playing more or less regularly since TGT release and don't have a single golden hero. xD)

Nah most quests in hearthstone work that way and nobody complains.
Like telling you to play 10 spells, or 10 1 mana cost minons or whatever and you get some in game gold.

Nothing to complain except for the fact that you can't get golden portraits by playing arena.

For me, that never made any slight of fucking sense.

Is Blizzard implying that playing ranked is harder than playing arena? Yea right, play a bunch of shit and click face everytime. SO HARD!

I don't know why Arena players don't get any love.

I thougt so aswell but then: I hit legend every now and then and even if not,  I play so much sooner or later my winrate is barely over 50%.
So you can say I win as many games as I loose in constructed. Its quite hard work.
Meanwhile in arena I win two games and loose one on average.  Getting 500 wins is fairly quick. But if you are my average arena opponent you have the opposite experiance which seems quite unfair.  My oppinion is the reward should not be possible for everyone if they just play the same amount which a class.

From my experience: Changing the game wont make any difference if you play other games just as much.  The ranked mode game may feel grindy,  but would something change if you would only play arena?  Also other games are neighter cheaper with all the dlcs,  nor do they need less hardware nowadays.

I wish you all the best with your depression and think you could profit from a proffessional probably.  Mostly people wait until they really really need one which will be way worse.

    Greetings a fellow hs enthusiast.

posted a message on March Arena top 100 Motivation thread

Well what i think is interesting: for me it depends on which region i play.  On my eu acc im around the usual 6 average (5.9, dunno how many runs as i am on my phone,  prob. around 15). But on na im just little above 5 average. Though on na i play on the phone during work  breaks,  where im usually distracted,  dont have deck tracker except pen and paper for writing down results.

Just remember,  even with 6.5 average you are not even near to close to eu top 100 but on na you might be there.

Conclusion: play in a environment you can focus on the game and play on eu because its probably easier. Ah also: Most important thing is to have fun,  cheers :)

Good decision.  This card was way to op and played in more then 40% of all decks which is boring.

For me 250 people seems to be an extremely low number and personally I dont believe it. I rather wait until there is some official statement from blizzard.

unfortunatly hearthstone rank isnt about skill its about time invested in this months ladder. if you want to hit legend you can expect to play atleast 500-600 games which means you would have to spend an average of 2-3hours a day every day for a month to get there

1-2 hours on a weekday and 3-5 hours on a weekend day is too much for getting into the highest league in a game played by hundred thousands of people in your region playing just as much or more is too much?
since MSoG came out ive played a grand total of 2 hours because this meta is garbage
I agree with that.  I play arenas now and a litttle wild.  Usually mostly standard.

This is  a little unprecisely: you can play as much as you want with a winrate below 50% from rank 5 on.

First of all change your perspective. Its not you being bad,  its others being better. Then,  play a deck you learn trading like dragon priest.  Aggro shaman will get fast results but you will stuck somewhere even faster.  It is easy to play to high ranks quickly but then it has a high skillcap (they say,  i never play shaman).  I mean the lightning bolt to a 1 healh minion was probably a little too much.  You were sitting at a lot of healh and you are the aggro player.  Maybe hit with weapon and kill the 3/3 to get board or even wait to get some more burst for lethal.  Also usually keep sir finley in mulligan. Sometimes you need to go slow,  sometimes fast.

So overall EU ist the easiest server as it seems. Most are mediocre, getting farmed by the few cracks.

Just to brag: 14 runs this month average 6.4. FeelsGoodMan :)

Care to explain what the connection between control warrior and that picture is? Am I missing something?!

Look at his opponents name ;) Who did invent the deck? But its just funny and not the real Fibonacci ofc. Everybody can get that name.

They ignore some issues: Of course Aggro Shaman is "only" at 53%. But the deck is followed by Mid-Jade Shaman and Mid range shaman, two other shaman deck with above 50% winrate. Also shaman was and is dominant for around a year now!

When he talks about legend, he should define Standard or wild.

If you go for legend, your winrate from rank 20 to 10 will not be 53% but at least as high as 70%... Then after rank 5 only 60% and so on....
