Here is my idea , giving the Pirate class to none other than the leader of Bloodsail himself, Duke Falrevere. Pirates have always been an odd bunch, with fairly inconsistent themes and no heroes that can really run an effective Pirate deck. So, I decided to make my own, with a theme on constant attacks and efficient spells. Picture a cross between Hunter and Rogue.
The Hero power is fairly simple, and doesn't need much explanation. Hero powers are fairly easy to balance, just by using the criteria that if it were a card, the same effect would be worth 0. Dealing 2 damage to a target is worth 1, but is counter balanced by a downside. Thematically, it represents the infamous unreliability of the flintlock pistol, the preferred ranged weapon of choice among pirates.
Raid: The unique keyword for the Pirate class. It means: Upon attacking, do X. This ability will trigger before any damage is allocated. However, it only activates if you actually attack. Dealing damage to enemy minions while your opponent trades does not count.
An example of Raid in effect, and a very essential tempo card. That free weapon early on helps a lot with low cost existing Pirates, like Dread Corsair.
An example of a necessary spell that influences the 'Huge Rush' theme. Only made it 1 mana, seeing as you need to play at least 2 minions to make it value.
More of the Utility side of things. This deck will feature multiple sleazy ways of getting through things that normally can't be ignored save by silence.

I still think rogues should be more secretive! Because, you know.....rogue reasons!!! So, here's another idea!
Secrets are completely random, so they can be any of the paladin, hunter or mage secrets. Let the secrets begin!

I really want to love these cards, but they are board-centric in a meta where autokill combo shit like Mechathun still exists. Not gonna cut it.

Looks fun! With only 8 Deathrattles don't you have trouble completing the 'get to 7' quest? A copy of Twilight's Call seems like it might really help here? Just watch out for the Deathlord anti-synergy!

My very first 12 win run! So happy. :) My previous best was 10 wins.
Pirate synergy was nice, and the mass of taunts helped no end against many opponents who tried to rush face. Final boss was a Priest who looked like he had me on toast, but I drew a Betrayal and all my big dudes to swing it round.
My rewards were a pack and a total of 485 gold!

Because it has components of Midrange Paladin that fight very effectively for the board early game, then just when the deck would be running out of steam ... boom, Dr Six comes in and Christmas Trees yo ass. I've lost so many games I thought I was in control of because of the massive tempo swing involved. If you don't have an answer, the Mysterious Challenger will often be a 10/9 swinging into your face and that's game.

This is a total joke. Pay hard cash up front for a product and then can't get in on release day. Pathetic.

It is good, but as with all Rogue tempo plays it is a two card combo. Decks like Zoo and Tempo Mage seem to have more repeatable synergies (i.e. many possible combinations that cascade) whereas Rogue requires the first perfect card to trigger the powerful SI:7 Agent or Eviscerate combos.

Great stuff, would love to see spellbook type items in the game. Maybe they could have made some of these in TGT instead of Ice Rager / all of the Rogue cards. :P
2
This card is even worse when compared to the other class legendaries released. Maybe they won't work, but at least you can build a deck around trying it out. Anub'arak is pure garbage. Has there been a single Rogue card that isn't trash in TGT?

Why Blizzard, why? What is the point of all these "will never be played" TGT cards?

Yep. Armorsmith and Northshire Cleric both have ridiculously powerful effects for those cost / stats (and with no restrictions). Seems harsh to make this Rogue card so poor.
