posted a message on Lock and Load?

I have tried decks for fun with this. Running all the 1 cost spells, then using it to refill the hand. Getting the 1 mana spell effects on the board can be handy. The really cool thing is that if you have 2 in your hand and you play them, you will begin to get x2 the cards off 1x spell, which can be fun if you have the coin.

As others have said, it is way too slow and basically a dead card for, what.. 80% of the game? It was fun while i was trying it out, even going as far as adding it to my dragon hunter control deck but obv that was a very slow deck.

posted a message on Poisoned Blade - Attempting to make a successful deck. Pointers?

I am currently using poisoned blade in my malygos/reno deck.

Its set up is pretty important and most of the time, your not gonna wanna use it unless you can discount it, 4 cost card 2-1'ing with ooze is a disaster.

Overall, it does have power with it but Harrison is a thing and a 3 card draw/weapon destroy is even more devastating than ooze. I only include it in my deck for when i am against freeze mages, its a nice little tool to handle the doomsayers.

WIth all this being said, i think assassins blade is far superior at the moment.

I was thinking about the card today while i was playing with it and its just short. I think if they added the effect to the card that made using your hero power considered a combo for the duration of the weapons life, along with its current effects, it could have a little more justification for seeing play.

posted a message on Mysterious Challenger is OP. Nerf!

See, the main thing with the argument here is the whole "Value" part of the card and in all posts, once they state the value, they STOP talking about the game itself, as if its over. "Oh, hes got more value now!.. Im doomed!"

Yes, MC does bring value. So does Dr. Boom.. But the argument does not end with the value they bring, it ends with how you deal with the value they bring and once you've determined that there is no way to deal with that value, THEN the card should be deemed OP.

Now, we also have to take into account the scenario of your shitty aggro deck getting bad draws, while the MC player getting good draws. That is going to happen. You are not going to win every game. NOBODY wins every game and if you did, you would be the best in the world. I can tell you right now, if you are unable to play around MC AT ALL, you are not the best player in the world and in fact, are far from it.

There are MC players who are going to be able to play around your Big Game Hunter. You have to anticipate that and if you don't and have no answers, then of course you are going to lose.. That is why the player is playing that deck, that player is relying on you being a "Weak" player. There are also a multitude of players who are going to follow up their MC with a Dr. Boom. That is a LOAD of value that is probably going to take a turn or 2 to get rid of. It happens.

I personally have seen MC 3x on the ladder so far, no more games then that. All 3 games went, MC, Dr. Boom, Tirion. Thats how they went. Did i rage? Of course. Did i lose? No. Their massive value play did fuck up my combo and i was unable to attain lethal through the way i normally do, but simply through board control and removals, i was able to handle it. (WITH NO BIG GAME HUNTER)

If i can do that without a big game hunter, i am pretty sure you can deal with a fucking single MC play. By the way, i run a paladin aggro divine shield deck that is probably the most cancerous thing to ever exist in hearthstone to date.. I don't even run Tirion or a single legendary or any secrets, its just pure fucking cancer and i love it.

You can do it, you just gotta git' gud' bro.

    Quote from Rhapsody1198 >>

I would take out harrison, no more patron anymore and you already have a good winrate against wallet warrior. Should replace him with Justicar, since she single handedly destroys control. You also need more early game, but lack naxx, so you can replace argent protector with argent squire. You also definitely don't need two tuskarr jousters; replace him for another squire usually (when you get naxx replace both squires with chows). Midrange paly should be not bad right now since patron is gone, but not 100% sure.  Another thing to consider is replacing Sylvanas with another quarter since she's slow, but idk since i don't have sylvanas myself LOL

Meh, just got Harrison Jones out of a pack and rly want to use it, I dont have Justicar yet, and another Quartermaster would only be good if I had justicar, and even with it, I'd have to take the risk of ending up with a dead hand of 2 quartermasters with no token. Argent Squire looks kinda meh, but I'll try it out

FYI, i have played over 1,000 games of hearthstone and have only been harrisoned twice. The card is so situational that it is often just sitting dead in your hand, awaiting its glorious moment to shine. The body is not attuned to the mana cost and so the board you get from the minion alone is just not valuable.

The only reason quartermaster would be sitting in your hand dead, is because your not using your hero power and as another poster said, Justicar is a great card, simply because she gives you TWO recruits instead of one, making your quartermaster's light up with anticipation.

Harrison is a decent card, but i think your winrate would argue with you over its usefulness. Justicar has endless value.. Harrison will maybe draw u 3 cards with a shit body if your lucky.

People who play decks like this and think they are being competitive make me laugh. "Oh welp, looks like im playing secret paladin now!" or even "Warrior is my 'main' class" give me a break, your main is to netdeck and hope for the best and i can't help but laugh when players with that attitude get shit on.

Cheers! This is just one less crutch for these folk to prop themselves up with and if the removal of that crutch makes standing on your own two hard, maybe you should find another game to play or build up your collection.

I am a little sad to see the deck go, but only because it gave beginner players a way to get some half decent winrates for some easy gold farming with minimal investment, in context to most other meta decks that have a high dust cost.

But yeah, GP deck was clearly a marketing tactic to sell the adventure and when the next one comes out, you can bet your ass there will be another card to fill that role and with the GP nerf happening now, i think it is safe to say the next adventure will be coming sooner than later.
