Hi there, and thank you for taking your time on the decklist. So, I was on Midrange but facing too much fast/aggro/tempo decks to my liking, so I swithched to this version. The idea behind it is to abuse both low mana costs, constant threats and deathrattles. That's why Webspinner > Wargen, Harvest > Wolfrider/Argent, Shredder > Arcane Golem/Leeroy/Loatheb (tho this last one is more of a tech card). Usually, the first 3-4 turns I fight for board control until the moment where tempo generated by deathrattles and constant face damage allows me to turn my removal into burst damage to finish the game. This decks include mirrors, Tempo/Mech Mage, Zoo, Secret Eboladin, etc. When facing Control Warrior, Freeze Mage, Handlock or Silver Hand, the game plan is to push for as much damage as I can as fast as I can. The idea is that they will only draw so much answers: taunt, life gain, board clears have my own answers as well. If I come out on top, the early pressure is enough to secure the win. If not, the game is decided around turns 6-10, where I try to burst down or scoop >.<
Don't really need hunters mark and web spinners in a hybrid Hunter.

Hey guys! New streamer with a small following so I do answer all questions. I don't consider myself great but I have hit legend every season I have played. I'm just your average Joe with a pretty card back :D
Generally Hybrid runs freezing trap over explosive. Considering your massive early game, I think it's best swapping those out, even though the explosive trap is massive against secret paladin. I'd also like to see harvests swapped for either arcane golem or argent horserider - maybe a one of each. Harvest golem just seems too passive to me.
That's about it, sorry, I don't play any hybrid hunter, but I'm just evaluating the deck on a whole keeping the cards powerlevels in mind. Hope this helps.

I run leeroy+faceless for this reason, if you can save a charge of eaglehorn for your turn 10 and happen to draw this combo, its a whopping 15 damage which is usually a winmore condition, but will occasionally burst out a win for you if they are healing lots. The presence of this combo allows you to focus more on mid board control.
Faceless is also good utility.
Hybrid hunter has become a lot of different things to a lot of different people. IMO if you are running knife jugglers in any deck, that is far from hybrid. That is just my opinion. They are effective to be sure, but do not get lost in what you are trying to do. If you plan to go into late game, freeze trap would be a better pick over those and if you end up removing them, it looks like you may want to consider a minion overhaul; consistently top decking 2-3 mana minions in a control match is not going to end well and at rank 5, you will see a lot more of it.
I like your deck though and if your having success, why change it.
Find yourself running out of cards? Just wondering if Brave Archer would be of any benefit.
It's tough to drop Explosive Trap sometimes but Freezing Trap could benefit what your doing as said above. Personally I love Snipe in the first 3-4 turns, keeps em off the board.
Also, freeze trapping a deathwing can turn an easy win for your opponent into an easy win for yourself and on that basis alone, you should run atleast one copy. Deathwing is the bane of all early aggro and can completely fuck your board, even if they have 8-10 health left.
Thank you guys for all this feedback! I'm seriously considering Freezing Trap at this moment. Im not completly sold on it but I will test the swap (2 in, 2 ExpTrp out). The ladder that I faced yesterday was mostly aggro/tempo/minion based with low mana curves [45%], Midrange with high impact late game (Highmanes, Boom, Challenger, Antonidas, Fel Reaver, Giants, Dragons) and some form of board sweeper [35%], Hard control [15%] and Patron [5%]. This numbers are rounded down and the sample is across 40-50 so games. Keep in mind that this is just to showcase the ladder that I faced and isn't meant to be a thoughtful meta snapshot, just personal experience. Currently, I'm also thinking +1 Leeroy/Arcane Golem, -1 Harvester Golem. Those mechs are pretty underwhelming as DatJake pointed out; they are a terrible late game topdeck. It is also true that Hybrid isn't a 'set in stone' decklist: I've seen Wranglers in there as well, which I consider to be a mediocre card at best. It might come down to personal preference. The idea behind HGolem is that it's diffcult to deal with for it's mana cost. As far as I can tell, the rest of the deck works like a charm: you have the early game aggression that a tempo oriented game needs, backed up by deathrattles.. but it is an aggro deck. If the opponent wins too much life or you dont get to remove a problematic Taunt on time, loosing is the result most of the time. If anyone is interested, I'll keep updating my rank climb and decklist. All critiques where great, I'm open to new suggestions. GGs!

I like Quick Shot better and Brave Archer kindda turns it bad. If you ever have 2 QS in hand, its even worst.
Also, freeze trapping a deathwing can turn an easy win for your opponent into an easy win for yourself
Deathwing isnt a card that I usually encounter :p BUT you're right-on about big threaths, Tyrion comes to mind. Belcher as well.. really problematic and punishing if I don't have silence.
Don't really need hunters mark and web spinners in a hybrid Hunter.
They make a great combo. I find Webspinner to be better than Worgen Infiltrator, as it can die even under Stealth, doesn't proc KC.. me likes the deathrattle and tempo oriented card.
Generally Hybrid runs freezing trap over explosive (..) even though the explosive trap is massive against secret paladin.
Harvest golem just seems too passive to me.
That's about it, sorry, I don't play any hybrid hunter.
Not only secret pally.. aggro decks in general fold to it. Only real counter is 3+ health, deathrattle, Nerubian Egg.
Harvest Golem is indeed slow and small. One can only hope it's 4/5 impersonation shows but most times its just 2 power, 2 minions.
Hybrid hunter was originally designed to beat Midrange Hunter. The idea was to keep the early game aggro where the Midrange deck will have more controlling, late game options. As Midrange doesnt have life gain or reliable Taunts, this makes the match even more good for us.You will then swap the chargers for some of those late game options that make Midrange so godly (Shredder, Loatheb, Houndmaster, Highmane, Boom) just to improve the game vs other decks. Remember remember: Loatheb/Belcher+Highmane+Boom=instaconceed.
edit: Removed Hunters Mark < 2nd Owl, Explosive Trap for Freezings, Snakes for Leeroy and Harvest Golem for Deathlord as now I don't have a way to zerg-down outside UTH/Creeper+Juggler.
I wasn't able to get pass rank 6 this season. Made lots of last minute tweaks to the deck, got back to midrange, back to face, but in the end I think I was on tilt or something and just wasn't playing right. Faced a lot of Druid in that rank, which I haven't practically seen at all, kindda took me by surprise actually. Most of my games againt that deck where awfull. I'm starting a thread on a card that I just tried this season and liked a lot: Shade of Naxxramas. I haven't updated the decklists on my profile but if anyone is interested, I can share those, and pretty much any other info on my decktracker. How 'bout you guys? how did the season went for ya?
How do you guys play Hybrid. Is it still pretty much attack the face only but the deck just consists of some more beefy minions or you do the occassional trade or only use your weapon/spells to remove their minions?
If it a good trade and a solid threat or a taunt, I use QS/weapons/Sargents (nowadays considering Mark again because Agent). If that's not the case I just go for face and hope deathrattles pull their weight. If their minions trade evenly, and I can get something out of that trade, I SMOrc. If I want to protect a Juggler, for ex, trade D:< *heretical It's around turns 4-6 that things like 'hero power+something' becomes a clock, but this isn't set in stone either. You first heropower might be on turn 8 if you played Highmane and Dr. Boom on curve, tho this line is hard to beat. Maybe you don't play those (some lists don't). Going second or first also sets different paces. Maybe they went first but didn't play one drops, maybe they went second and have Agent first turn. That kind of thing has to happend to you and what's in your hand should provide a straight answer: either you can deal with it or you don't and HAVE to trade. Darnassus is similar: that mana can be a headache, but maybe they don't ramp up. It's better to leave the 2/3 alone? I go for 'kill it every time' so far. Those two are real problems for Hunter game plan, and have to be killed. Usually, 1-2 health minions are going to trade evenly so I don't care too much for them. Also, consider this opinion from a rank 6 player. That's just what they are.

edit: first time I reach rank 5. The deck keeps having good win rate and favorable match ups. what can I do to improve it? D:

I use my hybrid deck :)
After seeing Kolento's decklist, I'm wondering if Facehunter isn't slowly turning into Hybrid for good.
