After getting smacked by a Pirate Warrior in my first game, I then pulled off this ridiculous combo... Heistbaron Togwaggle into Wondrous Wand into C'Thun, the Shattered AND Tenwu of the Red Smoke for 60 face damage in one turn against some Odd Armor Warrior. Maybe add that to your BFFs list, ha. Although that definitely requires a bit of luck.
This is one of the better tavern brawls I've played in a long time, imo. Fun with double Hungry Crab, Golakka Crawler, and Patches comes out on turn 1 no matter what.
Boggspine Knuckles is just too cheap, make it cost 6. The one mana difference could go a long way as it could allow opponents to develop a bigger board to deal with the threat. Or just thinking out loud... it could be evolves an 'x' number your minions (that might be too harsh of a nerf, but I think it's certainly reasonable).
Stickyfinger is not great for slowing the deck. It's only good if they equip the weapon the turn before. Once they evolve everything it's just too late. That's fine though, since we don't need a neutral epic countering an entire archetype.
My point is that something has to change, there's just too few decks (if any) that can beat it. They just overwhelm on the board way too quick.
Lol, I didn't even have my game out with this deck. As soon as my deck got 20 extra cards in it, my opponent just conceded. Good stuff. Upvoting this one.
Cool. I like that idea for sure. Just out of curiosity, what do you cut to do that? I also feel like adding those cards make Questing Adventurer a bit more appealing in this deck as well. Thanks for the comment :)
I'm not sure... I haven't actually had a chance to play my own deck yet. So maybe someone else can chime in here.
Grand Empress Shek'zara is just an extra way to draw out your C'Thun pieces or your Plushies. If you don't own it, I definitely wouldn't run to craft it. To be honest, Dirty Tricks, Swindle, and Stowaway might be enough card draw.
My only suggestion at the moment would be to try running a Questing Adventurer in it's place or if you really find yourself running through this deck quickly, maybe...just maybe... Zephrys the Great could work.
I've never had a better pack opening... 88 packs and 10 legendaries (four golden). Only one of those golden legendaries came out of a golden pack. My free one from the tavern pass was Ringmaster Whatley.
I think Bomb Warrior is being played the way it should have been played the past two expansions. It’s a much better deck without the pirate package, but the pirates were necessary last expansion to counter DH. Doctor Krastinov definitely improved the deck. Now they’re running Upgrade too. So there’s three ways to buff the weapons and Hoard Pillager brings it back. Yes, I’m sick of the concept of bombs but there are several ways to counter it so I wouldn’t say there’s anything wrong with it. Kobold Stickyfinger is probably the best counter to the weapon itself now.
Soulshard Lapidary is a good card, but definitely not OP. I will admit, the 4/2 weapon on 4 and Soulshard Lapidary on 5 is a shit ton of potential face damage in two turns, but it’s not that often that someone pulls that off, especially if there’s another threat on the board.

I'd probably just cut the entire shuffle mechanic at that point and just make a Miracle Rogue. Cut C'Thun, the Shattered, Grand Empress Shek'zara, 2x Ticket Master and 2x Stowaway for 2x Preparation, 2x Eviscerate, and 2x Questing Adventurer.

Made an update this morning:
Added 2x Foxy Fraud, 2x Swindle, 1x Ambush. Dropped 2x Plagiarize, 2x Malevolent Strike, and 1x Sap.
