Actually, I've seen him several times in both Priest Decks (combines very well with Shadow Madness) and Handlock (effectively heals giants and other expensive minions).
Really like it in my Mech Druid deck. Druids can boost the weapon just by using their hero power. It's also a backdoor way of destroying an enemy weapon if it's one of the OP ones. And yes, on occasion I've pulled off the combo with Harrison Jones.
Cairne Bloodhoof also lost a bit of power because he's unable to kill minions with 5 health or more, in a single turn. That makes Piloted Sky Golem strictly better at filling the "spawn another dude" role since it can kill a Sludge Belcher even if it becomes silenced. I somehow doubt Cairne will ever come back in favor, sadly. He's far from useless, but he's not the optimal choice and that's enough to make him irrelevant.
Has anyone ever thought about V-07-TR-ON. I've never actually seen it ever been tried with Mimiron's Head. It was always thought as being so crazyily good but no one plays it anymore and it is just fogotten.
Because most druids have long since replaced chillwind yeti with piloted shredder, the coin + innervate + 4 drop turn 1 is a lot less good. Any dark bomb, quick shot, frost bolt, wrath, flame imp, fiery war axe, sap, freezing trap etc can absolutely ruin that play. The coin innervate keeper against a flame imp or the like is still really good though. You want to make sure your play will actually will accomplish something and have follow up, not just potentially threaten ~2-3 damage depending on what pops out of the shredder.
Tundra Rhino - I remember a time you'd slip him casually on board turn 5, hoping the opponent wouldn't pay much attention. You'd maybe take out a small minion using him that turn. Then pull a charging Savannah Highmane turn 6 - 'Beastly'move :)
Hi everyone, just wondering what are some cards that are forgotten about these days in today's meta? For me I haven't heard about Al'Akir the Windlord and cards like that for a long time. What are some you haven't heard or have just forgot?
All these "forgotten" cards makes me want to make a deck based upon them. the deck of cards nobody is using :x
Al'Akir is still in my Shaman deck. That might be more an indicator of how long it's been since I played shaman seriously though. Only pull it out for the odd daily quest
I used it daily in my Handlock/DemonHandlock dekc. This card was in my deck when I reached Legend last season.
Used to be a proud Handlock player.
Legend 17 times.
Still flirting with the ladder from times to times with Renolock.
Turn 10 Blingtron 3000 into Harrison Jones makes for an amazing play, despite how difficult it is to pull off.
Rawr I'm a dinosaur
Yeah, it gives an odd sense of satisfaction, especially if your opponent draws a doomhammer and you are low on cards.
My Custom Card Workshop
Custom Expansion; Conquering Outland
Even if you only draw 2 cards, you still get decent value.
Edit: so long as you don't get a Light's Justice lol

Dependable loan sharks since 1960. We sink our teeth into every deal we make.

The odd time I do play Shaman, I stil include Al'Akir, still one of my fav class specific legends. "Wiiiiinds, obey my command!" He's great fun :)

How about V-07-TR-ON? I haven't seen it ever and it is never used. Mimiron's Head is also never used anymore and the combo isn't even tried anymore.

I still play a Rogue deck devoted to V-07-TR-0N. It just does not work so well ... but so much fun when it does :)

Hi everyone so trying to start this thread again, so recently the meta is more slow so wondering what forgotten cards you may have seen?
TX
Thanks to Gazlowe providing the Golem. Too many mechs but who cares. V-07-TR-ON is awesome and worth all it destroys.

Never see that card now.
