Problem with Casual is in the name. Some players assume it is meant to play fun and gimmicky decks when it's really just unranked; a mode where you don't lose/gain any stars.
Lol dude.... We have to learn how to play our top tier decks. If I want to make sure I can Ass Rape some people... Then I will play my legendary decks on casual mode. Get over yourself dude.
The fact that you are this upset about going 2-9 tells me that the problem is your attitude, not the game mode. The game does not become casual just because you clicked a button. It becomes casual when you no longer respond to the game's outcome emotionally.
If you are really this upset over a few games, perhaps it is time for you to quit. After all, you are the one who came to the forums to complain, not those 9 people who played decks you didn't want to face.
It always was, if you want to play fun made an at least semi viable deck. And don't you ever play good decks in casual? When you're trying a new good deck to play ranked with later or even for finishing a quest fast, but you don't want to ruin your good rank? I do.
I am so bored and tired of this game right now, that i just need to make this thread, although it probably won't change anything because people are truly assholes...... I understand when you guys play on ladder with your best decks but for Christ sake, stop playing GODDAMN TIER 1 decks on CASUAL! This is a disease, beyond cancerous, not only to new players but to people like me, who just want to have fun, chill and try out new deck archetypes, but unfortunately i can't because i'm usualy dead on turn 6. C'mon guys you are better than this, if you want to win so badly, then go on ladder and play your tempo mages, aggro/midrange shamans, dragon warriors, token druids, etc. If this goes on, new players will abandon the game even quicker. 11 matches on casual today with fatigue warrior, and the score was 2-9, faced 4 aggro shamans, 2 tempo mages and 3 midrange shamans, the games i've won were against priest and a warrior. It's somewhat hillarious because people play on casual, like they are playing on a big tournament with prizes over 10000000000000000$ Guys, it cannot be this way :/ let us, i mean, everyone who play casualy, experience the game at it's fullest, play your tier 1-contested metagame decks on ladder, if you want winning so badly, and to "show off your skills". Leave casual game mode alone. What is the poing of having so many awesome cards, when you can't even try them out? This isn't even funny anymore, and blizzard needs to be aware of this problem and try to solve it.
Sorry for the rant, but i had to, and for my poor english, it isn't my native language.
TLDR; If you want to win every single game using a TIER 1 deck from current meta, with high winrates, play it on ranked NOT on casual.
Honestly- this is as far from truth as it gets. Unless they're bunching players with similar records into casual, I played a couple last night of my own made up random decks and could tell the player I was against was fairly new as his collection was mostly basic cards in his hunter deck. Next game was the same thing... a lot of mostly basic cards. So it isn't ONLY tier 1 decks. That being said, if you play the game at a different time, you may run into people tweaking their higher level decks on casual. Sucks when it happens but you can concede whenever really at 0 punishment aside from what little time you put into that game up to that point. ... It's casual so feel free to concede after that first fiery bat or w/e shaman aggro you may be running into.
Does casual mode use a hidden MMR for matchmaking? Try spam conceding 10 games every hour to tank your MMR down a bit then you'll get a few easier games for a while and you can try your "casual deck".
I consider casual "practice mode" for new decks I want to try and learn and not lose my ranks IN ranked. For instance I just made Malygos Druid today. Didn't have Malygos just made him. So I went to Casual to learn how to play the deck. If I lose who cares. So what that it's currently the #1 deck. I haven't played it so it's new to me!
The only true casual format is Tarvern brawl (most of the time) because a lot of people, including me, just want a mode where they can practice decks they want to take into Ranked without loosing stars.
Perhaps they should create a practice mode for people who want test decks before they go into ranked, and a casual mode so all the people who want to play Teir 4 plus decks and just have fun. I'd like that personally, but I doubt they'd Blizzard would do it.
Which means at this point the only way to truly play casual is make friends and play against them.
There is sorta something like that... Its called Dualing the Inkeeper. Those who are whining about us using our best decks in Casual should just go play against friends and Innkeeper.

i play what i want
It's been like this for awhile. You are better off just playing Ranked. You might even do better even with your so called "fun" fatigue warrior.

Make some more HS friends and invite them to casual games. You can ask them to play a match where top tier decks are forbidden. Problem solved.
Lol the replies just prove how much people are assholes
