Uhh... how do you figure? 1 of their minions now has less health.
That's good for them?
He’s not wrong… pirate warrior barely got tapped, paladin and warlock got smacked. Trogg is dead and several pally decks abused him. Warlock now has to wait an additional turn before rod, giving you one more chance to find that viper. Shaman isn’t going to punish your wide board at turn 5 anymore. These nerfs will end up making the meta more favorable for pirate warrior.
it's true. This deck now has no unfavorable match-ups at all.
It's basically an aggressive tempo deck with midrange-style removal and infinite endgame value. In other words, the best parts of all archetypes with none of the drawbacks.

It'll still be unfavorable vs quest warlock, libram paladin and quest rogue

Turning a overstater 1 mana with mana cheat into a regular stats minion is not a change (nerf) imo. It would still be played as 1/1 and that would be a nerf at least.

It is unfavorable vs control warlock
That's barely unfavorable. More like a coin flip.
The Libram Paladin matchup was much worse for Warrior, and it may still be. I thought the Trogg nerf might make more of a difference, but I supposed Paladin doesn't exactly rely on that gimmick to beat Warrior.

Y’all are crying about pirate warrior and the librams are the true cancer. Pirate warrior is way more beatable than boring paladin now with troggs.
Well now Trogg is dead and Pirate Warrior got a light nerf.
None Blizzard will not admit they ever made a mistake with Questlines

Well, the nerf is out. I don't believe any of us would have thought that they would hit the deck that hard.
Kidding.
Take a walk on the wild side...

we can confirm Team 5 devs are basically pirate fans that play PW for ladder all day and night in both Standard and Wild...
It'll still be unfavorable vs quest warlock, libram paladin and quest rogue

Funnily enough, neither change that i tried to predict, didnt happen.
Not yet, since there was no change.

At this point I'm betting the questlines will just get Genn/Baku'd at the end of the year.
Downside in theory:
Playing a Deck full of Pirates is not that great cause Pirates are not that great.
Blizzard: Here are great new Pirates for your Pirate Deck.
My expectations were low, once again Blizzard and the Hearthstone devs found a way to deliver even less than I expected.
That's barely unfavorable. More like a coin flip.

And we will also ban the best meta deck after we ban quest warrior? And then another one and another one?
you really should learn already that noone cares about balance in wild
Pirate warrior is a deck for noobs, all together with big spell mage! Auto pilot piece of shit.. why cant Blizztard make anything work!?! :(
