I think there's a lot of determining factors. I don't play more then 10 games per day and 10 would be a good day, so the numbers might not be a lot. But I do get bored relatively easy and it depends on which cards I have. In the past two months I've mostly played highlander Druid and mage as I like the mechanics and it's rotating so I'm trying to have fun. 50-70 games seems reasonable for the average player. Last expansion Libram Paladin was a popular deck, I played it a lot and made legend, this expansion I have barely touched Paladin because I was so bored of penflinger.
Disclaimer: I play in the ranked mode but that's only to accumulate wins on hero portraits. I am not concerned with my rank or playing the best decks out there. It really just depends how much enjoyment I get out of playing the deck. I am rather inconsistent on how quickly I get tired of decks, so it really just depends I suppose. My most played deck is probably an elemental shaman deck of all things. However, I suppose if you want a number on things... decks I enjoy, I play well over +300 even up to 500. Decks I don't find fun, I drop within a few games or never end up crafting.
I cycle through decks constannnntly. Usually never play meta decks for more than a game or two unless I’m hardcore pushing for legend that month and am seeking the easy track to guarantee I break through.
Main source of fun is carrying meme/off meta decks to legend, which results in frequent shifting when the deck concepts go belly up to hypertuned meta decks 😜
Every game has the same strategy, the same outcome. Draw cards and stall until you have combo.
As for me: I have over a thousand wins on Priest, Mage and Warlock just from Reno decks in Wild.
What makes them so replayable is several things:
- Lots of discover cards which makes every game feel a bit different
- Good balance of being able to handle both Aggro and Control decks
- Consistently highlander decks have always been at least Tier 3 or above in Wild, they usually get a couple of new additions each expansion.
- Flexibility. Besides the default Raza Priest deck, there is no "copy + paste" Wild Highlander decks, whenever I get into a mirror match my deck will always have at least a few different cards to my opponent.
Quite difficult to say what my average is because I have played many decks only for a couple games, if I wanted to test some cards that I already had anyway.
My most played deck according to my deck tracker is wild Quest Mage with 292 games, "closely" follwed by a standard priest galakrond list and singleton priest in wild with a little more than 100 games. Two of these decks are (or were) competitive tier 1 decks that I only use(d) to climb, and the Galakrond list was created solely to farm some of the achievements (I have no Ghuun and Nameless One; Ghuun took ages, but it was a lot of fun).
I often build meme lists that I abandon fairly quickly because they don't work at all or keep them for roughly 50-80 games, but climbing is too important, so they aren't used as often as top tier lists.
Oh boy, I still haven't ended a game with Oh my Yogg! after 77 attempts with Odd Paladin. FeelsNotWorthItMan
Depends on how you define “deck”. If I change a couple cards does that make it a different deck? If yes then my number is really low. On the other hand, if changing a couple cards but keeping the deck generally the same counts as the same deck, then my average is well over 100, mostly because I never get tired of mill rogue and have like 2500-3000 games with it lol

I just realised how much I miss playing mill rogue. I should build an updated version of the deck. Do people still use the DK in mill rogue?

Philosophical question, if I build a deck and change 1 card every game, then after 30 games is it still the same deck? If not then at what point does it become a different deck?
Right away? Around 5-8, but if I really like the deck it's not rare for me to not play aything else. For instance, Ive been playing Renolock since I was a lvl 50 Warlock until I got 500 wins.

I love you Dreadsteed, I will never disenchant you!
I've played over 1100 games with the same DH list. Originally built to unlock the 1000 wins portrait, now used to farm the 5 weekly wins in Standard. This is of course an extreme example. Decks I don't like will probably see no more than 20 games played, whereas deck I do like will often tally well into the 100+ range.

Yes, still runs the DK. No more n'zoth though and instead focused on stalling with stuff like cloak of shadows, evasion, and armor vendors

No, my deck is not 100 % meta, it has one "main" wincondition - Giants - but it is not always "Wait for Vargoth and Giants", it is able to win even without them, sometimes thanks to

I'm really curious. Sometimes I feel like I get bored of decks way too soon.
It might sounds strange, but I spend more time thinking about which deck should I craft, than actually playing chosen deck.
My most played deck is Wild Spirit of the Frog Burn Shaman with 130 games. On average, I play 50-70 games with a deck before I get bored of it.
What's your view on this?
Obey C'Thun, Praise The Darkness, Pet Hakkar, the Soulflayer, Love Yogg-Saron, Hope's End

If you want to learn the deck you have to play it many times. Unless it's autopilot like bomb warrior.

as a beta player I don’t believe in removing decks
Until I lose. Whenever I lose a game I either switch a couple cards or play another deck.
At least things never get boring.
Some decks I've made and never even played they're just sitting there in my collection.

About 10 games b4 I can’t stand stupid people
I only play 12-14 games with a deck - then I have to draft once again in Arena :)

I never change the deck if plays,so over1000+ or until next expansion with better cards, but core is the same.
Same deck can lose for 10 days in a row,and then go flawless for 15 wins so i never change
