Pretty self explanatory. I think Whizbang should be either moved to Classic or put in a category of his own. His Standard permanence wouldn't have a negative effect on the meta whatsoever, due to decks constantly being updated with the release of new expansions. It's a great alternative for newer players who don't have the dust or experience for multiple competitive decks, or just someone who wants to try them all and have fun.
Yes. He is the only card that can only be used in Standard decks exclusively, and will continue to be so until Blizzard decides to release recipes for Wild mode (which is probably never).

Start of Year: Provoke the failure of 3 expansions, force nerfs on otherwise balanced cards, bring deckbuilding to an all-time low and get rotated one year earlier for being such a threat to the game's health. - Genn and Baku's historical entry on the White Book of Shit Design, shortly before retiring unpunished
I dont think they will. It looks like the adventure mode is giving us another card like Whizbang so if its true then Blizzard will most likely rotate Whizbang
That would be great. For F2P or low pay players (like myself) it's nice to have a card that lets us try out so many decks without having to burn dust on decks we don't like or just aren't good at piloting.
Having something similar each year is effectively the same as having a Classic Whizbang (except for the cost of crafting of course) - so that would be a mostly win in any case.

Zayle Shadow Cloak is supposed to be this, so from what I can tell this is happening.
Keeping Whizbang around permanently in standard means T5 can't make new iterations of Whizbang in the future and essentially delete a portion of the general player gold/dust collection gradually.
It's the same kind of reasoning behind why Blizzard continually makes new heirlooms that only work for the newer higher levels and/or creates new costs/requirements to extend old heirlooms as opposed to just raising the cap for the original gear/weapons. It allows them to delete gold from the inventory of players who have managed to stockpile large amounts of it.

they might give us something similiar every year

Why would they. Most of these decks are trash anyway. It's better to try creating your own budget deck than playing this card.
Some people enjoy the diversity of Whizbang's deck and don't want to play the same crappy deck over and over until they can afford a better one.
