Although I agree with the rest of your post, Blubber Baron is awful in arena. 

this card is actually decent in dragon priest because the deck is full of battlecry minions.

Do battlecries from weapons like glaivzooka and jaded claws count for this guy?

Really good card for the Goons. Not only does it benefit from the hand buffs themselves, but it benefits just from the minions being played, and given time it can scale completely out of the enemy's control. A good pick in any deck that uses a lot of Battlecries.

It says summon, not play ? So, random summoned minions with Battlecries don't activate their effect but give this dude +1/+1.

If there's ever a Grimy Goons deck, this is going into it. Not only does it get buffed after every battlecry (there's a lot of them in those 3 classes btw) but it can also get buffed by the Grimy Goons special ability, making it a huge baron

Which never saw play...Yea, don't think we'll be seeing this one played much, though it does gain more and is cheaper, so you never know.

Already working on a battlecry shaman using this and rumbling elementals for value, then evolving.

A must include in Hand buff decks, this card can get crazy strong really quickly. 

Bolvar Mechanism. Might work in Jade Golem Battlecry deck.
